Iranian Made Mesbah-1 killed turkish F-4

until not i am not sure and i could not even find out what shoot it down where is the pilots and the plane wreckage
the best is to retrieve the plane

Dont make me laugh. Report suggest that the RF-4 entered the Air space for a mere split second and that it was shot down about interantional waters. This 70s year old systems does not have the range to shoot it down.

Syrian made map flight of the RF-4, Pathetic myth busted.

Well , let just say the reports were somehow inaccurate

A low flying Jet shot will not travel 9 KM.
It depends of were you hit and what wepon you use ,for a system like mesbah 1 that can only lighty damage the plane its certaily a possibility to hit the tail of the plane ad it fall' several km away even at low altitude .
The weapon don't make enough shock on the plane to make it loose its path , so the plane go on its previous path until somrthing happened to the weakened structure or perhaps the pilot need to use the damaged system

correct, an F4 has a glide slope about like a brick

wrong ,F4 is not Aerodynamic yes but unlike F16 or B-2 its a perfect example of an stable design . the key point that make these planes able to fly are those powerful j-79 engine if you don't loose the engine power then no it won't be a flying brick , but he moment you loose the engine power , then yes you'll become a falling brick

Delusional Persians are delusional... I guess that your AA wanna be pistol has 25 km range too? I didn't know you guys perfected railgun technology...

Of course you torke "khars" are typically retards but it is okay, let me help you understand, the plane was fired at 1km from the shore and crashed 10km from the shore, do you know what that means? it means the plane was damaged and pilot tried return to base knowing that.. what sort of retard would do that I have no Idea, but then again he was a tork

the plane then crashed 9km from where it was initially damaged. so now you understand what happened I hope. or maybe you want to experience what happened? in the case ask erdogan to send you out on a plane over syrian air space again. then tell me if what shot at you was saeer or misbah.

Unfortunate incident hope that relation between Turkey and Syria improve , no point to get into such tense standoffs

Turkey should respect Syrian airspace , and let Syria mind its own business and similarly respect Irans own space

its not like some countries that flies drones and get not shot down , other countries have balls and we respect it

So the claim is its lightly damaged and tried return its base through a completely opposite route ? seems legit.

Its sad to see Iranians thanking and supporting troll posts with insults and mocking even though they're trying to show good intentions on other threads.

I think the machines are automated they will shoot at anything that has no friendly signiture , so it was probbly a case of plane diverting off course and the machine just opened fire

In any case , every one should fly planes in their own airspace otherwise such incidents are fairly common accidents

Not really, everyday tens of airspace violations happens, how many of them shot down for example this month ? or this year ?

it's toooooooooo cool , first it was 9 km from shore , then 10-13 kms, then 15 kms then 13 miles , maybe the syria shot it down in turkey air space? :D

maybe the syria shot it in GEO

Interestingly, American officials confirmed Syria's story (probably Obama bashes those officials as we speak :azn:)

Turkish jet shot down inside Syrian airspace: report

U.S. intelligence indicated a Turkish warplane shot down by Syrian forces was most likely hit by shore-based anti-aircraft guns while flying inside Syrian airspace, American officials said, according to the Wall Street Journal. The finding falls in tune with Syria’s account of the incident and contrasts reports from Turkish officials.

The Turkish government has said debris from the plane fell into Syrian waters, but maintained that its fighter jet was shot down without warning in international airspace.

"We see no indication that it was shot down by a surface-to-air missile as Turkey says,” a senior U.S. defense official said, but declined to specify the source of the information. The senior U.S. defense official cautioned that much remains unknown about the incident.

The use of antiaircraft fire would suggest the Turkish plane was flying slowly and low to the ground, U.S. officials said, although Syria had said the jet was traveling at 480 miles an hour.

If hit by anti-aircraft fire, the jet likely came closer to the Syrian shoreline than Turkey claims, U.S. officials said.
A former senior U.S. official who worked closely with Turkey said he believed the flight's course was meant to test Syria's response. "You think that the airplane was there by mistake?" the former official said. "These countries are all testing how fast they get picked up and how fast someone responds. It's part of training."

A Turkish official said the plane wasn't on a surveillance mission when it was shot down. "All NATO members have condemned the Syrian hostile act and have supported Turkey," the official said.

The plane's pilots have not been found and the Turkish Navy continues to search for them.

You wright about airspace violations that happen in none hostile area but when your regime declare state of hostility then they send fighter airplane to test the Syrian readiness absolutely the outcome would be harsh.
