There may be another hypothesis:
The US navy did not intercept it with radar or even visually,
1) the drone for the radar is too small
2) inattention of radar operators
3) underestimation of the radar operators of the identified target
4) inattention of personnel on board ships because they are ordered to perform other duties
5) in the service order there was no provision for personnel who had to do visual surveillance of any aircraft in flight near the ship
However very nice video, probably a good view of the camera used
