For that reason alone no one would communicate using these old and vulnerable GSM networks. GSM communication has remained vulnerable and susceptible to hacking since its inception. Most people (intelligent people) relly on End-to-End encryption platforms such as Whatsapp or Telegram. Not that they can't be hacked but finding a system vulnerability or zero-day exploits is very low. Hence, attackers mostly relly on victims to make a mistake.

I agree with @Aspen we need a dedicate cyber force but the question is why any talented person would like to join that force when they are not even offering any lucractive incentives? I am sure many talented Pakistanis would like to serve their country if it was offered.

Well this is more about rising criminal activity than anti-China I admit. While businesses have a legitimate use for VPN's for which PTA is getting them registered, people just like anonymity because well you know why.

It's now business where hackers sell companies info and business models or customer information. It's getting more and more organized crime around the world. And has very high demand.

Very sad to hear that. Basically Irani hackers hack every country.they hacked f-35 files as well. It's a real worry for us because it can help iran in securing nuclear technology. Iran is creating more and more problems now. It's better for pakistan to change its policy towards iran now. How can a brotherly country hack your systems? Obviously they aren't brotherly. Time to raise new cyber security team.we can also contact Israel through back channels. Israel can provide us critical information related to Iran nuclear missile program.i think it's time to behave as a hostile country and not as a brotherly country. Enough is enough.

I dont know, I read about it a long time ago, someone hacked PDF and stole email address and other personal information that can be used to identify users. Theres also been lots of DDOS attacks and other attacks that have brought the site down, most recently there were some DDOS attacks some few months ago. Maybe some countries are monitoring foreign nationals or dual nationals, I dont really know.

Even US government get attacked all the time. It’s important to have layers of security including with best firewalls (Palo Alto or F5 firewalls) and tools like splunk to collect logs from all devices.
