Iranian Chill Thread

. . . . .
My theory, this is maybe a message from US to de-escalate the situation in Israel "Our carriers are close to you and in target range, so you know there is not going to be war between us, so calm down the situation". Other what would be the point of getting them so close to Iran?

They can't even reach Tehran without refueling. This is everything but a sign of war, more like a message to de-escalate

As a reminder Iran controls the escalation ladder in Israel

.
Just to refocus the conversation:

- where is Hamas…😂
- where are the POWs
- Zionia is war torn by a neighborhood
- Zionia just conquered a hospital
- Zionia has become a global civitas non grata.

Disaster after disaster.

I'm open to this sentiment as it would provide a reason as to why the USN would move an entire CSG that close towards Iranian coastal anti-ship batteries but I don't entirely think this was the case. America could have wanted to very simply position the Carrier as "bait" or as a show of force without the immediate intention of deescalation in mind. Sort of like saying "hey tough guy, here it is. Go for it if you dare". But overall, it's still clear neither the United States nor Iran wants all-out war.

The war against Israeli ground based ISR assets continues.

You think pragmatic Iran would ever pre emptively attack a carrier battle group? There’s over 7,000 US soldiers in those groups.

You are talking 3x+ the casualties of Pearl Harbor. You might as well just ask to get bombed into the Stone Age at that point.

Zero point zero chance Iran would ever do that pre-emptively with zero provocation. Neither would China or Russia.

If you sink a battle group, you better be ready for WW3 because no ceasefire is coming without a wave of devastation rained down in return. Which will make it hard for the provocateur (Iran or China) to then back down, thus more punches thrown by each side.

Theoretically speaking; If Iran was observant to a constant (clearly visible) region-wide buildup of hostile American forces preparing for a comprehensive bombing campaign. Wouldn't the striking of said CSG be then warranted or at least put on the table as an option?

I know in this case, striking the CSG would be utterly stupid, but if circumstances were different; would it then make sense?

Nothing is “clearly” visible. You forget for over 10 years iran had US forces on both sides armed to the teeth and carrier groups routinely passing thru Hormuz. This is nothing today. It’s an election year, Biden is anti war and the military won’t listen to him even if he went completely senile and ordered strikes, just like they didn’t listen to Trump in the last year of presidency.

If the US was planning to attack Iran, the signs would be so obvious to see. It took 3 weeks+ for Israel to mobilize to invade….itself.

It would take US 6 months+ probably a year to get all the resources and ammo and logistics in place for a war with Iran. Also the ammo DOESNT EXIST because you gave it all to Ukraine and Israel. US would be use the ‘break glass in case of emergency’ stockpile.

2 or 3 carrier groups in major bodies of water is not how US would start a war. It would be massive amounts of CMs and F-22/B-2 going after HVT and critical infrastructure targets.

So the carrier groups are just for show. Nothing Iran hasn’t seen many many times before. Not to mention the whole notion of attacking Iran is moronic, there is literally no set goal and you would guarantee an Iran that exists NPT and builds a bomb.

US also knows Iran won’t start a wider war. It hasn’t in hundreds of years. Iran expands influence thru soft power projection and growth in shadows, not face to face against a military that outspends it 100x to 1.

Trump assassinated arguably the 2nd most powerful man in Iran and Iran didn’t even target Centcom HQ in PG, it attacked a random base in Iraq just like it attacks random bases in Iraq and Syria today via its foreign legions.

US, Turkey, and NATO have given weapons that have killed tens of thousands of Russian soldiers, what has Russia done? Besides scream and shout? Hell Putin got in bed with the Turks!

Same goes for China. Now Xi is kissing Western a** again because his economy is in the ****hole and he realized Chinese demographics over the next 50 years is gonna implode because Him and the previous dumb phucks thought it was brilliant idea to limit population to 1 child. Idiots didn’t realize babies wouldn’t grow on trees forever. Now China has a massive aging population and a negative birth rate. Population going to drop by 300M in next half century. That’s more than 3 Iran sized populations dying off from old age and not being replaced. Companies are moving out in droves in case US and Europe sanction China like they did Russia and Iran. US manufacturing picking up, Vietnam, India, and surrounding areas are less of a headache to multinational companies. Some idiots like Elon will try to suck the lucrative Chinese middle class dry, but many mega companies realize it’s a headache operating in that market. One day 1 + 1 = 2 next day government says no it’s 0, pay up.

Believe it or not Iran has the strongest hand among the Axis at the moment. But it’s not suicidal. Neither is the US. Nobody wants war not even Israel. All 3 (Iran, US, Israel) have enough on their plate right now to deal with.

No war unless Bibi goes senile.
