That only means one thing. These so-called Pakistanis on our side are in reality not Pakistani. Their loyalty lies with Afghanistan which is fine. Deport them to Afghanistan along with Afghan refugees. I have no issues with that.

Having said that, enough of this Pashtun bhai bhai BS. We, the Pak Pashtun, have a different identity than Afghan Pashtun. Our language, norms and values are not the same. Throughout the decades we have changed as our borders are seperate. There used to be a time when we could hop over. That time has long gone. Pakistani Pashtun and Afghan Pashtun don't share many commonalities.

The Afghan Pashtun consider us the Pakistani Pashtun as fake Pashtuns. We, the Pakistani Pashtun think that Afghan Pashtun are not the real Pashtun. We cannot even get along with each other.

Shia Afghans despite the track record of Iran will always defend Iran, the same with Pakistan, Shia Pakistanis don't take a strong stance against Iran, and I am well aware of the Shia lobbying within Pakistan that defends Iran.

No point in carrying this discussion any further I have given my solution... merger, whether you like it or not this is the only practical solution I see for the future of both peoples.

If the Pakistanis at the top are smart then they will head in this direction, as this will be killing two birds with one stone, as 1 they will have access to Central Asia, and two they won't have to worry about the threat in the west. The only question is the time frame, and Pakistan and Afghanistan have to both work on a frame to bring this hostility to an end, and the first step will be recognising that Durand line, which I see happening in the next 5-10 years once peace comes in the next 2-3 years.
