105 mm SMOKE WP,SMOKE HC​

105mm smoke Ammunitions are in different types due to filler materials as well as the process of smoke disposal. The one having WP smoke material is the normal type and the other with HC smoke material is base ejection type.

122 mm HIGH EXPLOSIVE​

122mm Howitzer Ammunition series are separate loading munitions widely used all over the world since World War II as reliable artilleries in military services. High Explosive OF-462 intended for use with D-30 Howitzer Gun and High Explosive Hollow Base (HEHB) to be fired with PL83 Howitzer Gun as well as their relevant Smoke and Illuminating types are the various available products.

The smoke type of 122mm Ammunition are produced in two types of normal and base ejection and can be provided with various smoke material as per customer’s request.

122 mm ILLUMINATING​

This product is also a separate loading round, with the projectile and cartridge case loaded separately so that, where appropriate, the propellant charges can be altered to suit the fire mission. The body is forged steel with a relatively short streamlined ogive, a pronounced bourrelet and a distinct boat tail.

130 mm HIGH EXPLOSIVE & ERFB-BB​

130 mm gun ammunitions are separate loading series of munitions provided in various types as high explosive extended range, smoke and illuminating. The extended range has base bleed unit which brings an enhanced range of 36000 m for ammunition.

130 mm SMOKE​

This product is also a separate loading ammunition, allowing the variable charges contained in a brass can to be varied to suit any particular fire mission. The projectile is forged steel and uses a conventional long-nosed streamlined outline with a nose fuze. There are two copper drive bands encircling the body close to the flat base, which has a very slight boat tailed profile.

155 mm HIGH EXPLOLSIVE & ERFB-BB​

155 mm HOW Ammunition series are provided in HE, M107, Extended range with base bleed unit, as well as smoke and illuminating types. The last one is CARGO type which is the most recent products of DIO in 155mm series.

155 mm SMOKE​

155 mm smoke is used to provide screening or marking smoke. It has the same general appearance as the 155mm High-Explosive (HE) M107 and has the same design origins. The shell contains white phosphorus and is normally fitted with a nose-mounted Point-Detonating (PD) fuze. On impact, the fuze ignites the internal buster charge, which then ruptures the shell casing to
release WP filling. As it contacts the air, the WP ignites to produce thick clouds of white smoke.

155 mm ILLUMINATING​

155 mm Illuminating is another separate- loading ammunition of 155 mm series using a hollow forged steel body with a steel base plug press fitted to the rear of the projectile and held in place by shear pins and twist pins. The shell interior contains a primary expulsion charge, a canister assembly and a drogue parachute. The canister assembly contains a secondary expulsion charge, a delay holder, an illumination composition and the main parachute.

203 mm HIGH EXPLOSIVE M106​

This product is the largest and heaviest artillery ammunition which is separate-loading projectile using a hollow steel-forging with a streamlined ogive, a boat-tailed base and a base cover welded to the base. The nose of the projectile is fitted with an eyebolt lifting plug for storage, transport and handling.

130 mm HEAT CARGO​

When deciding to have an ammunition to be capable of high destructive effect on a wide area then the DIO HEAT Cargo ammunition is the best solution. There are a quantity of Bomb lets inside each shell which fall down slowly after an adjustable time of ejection from the shell and each one acts as a small anti armor penetrating bomb when reaching the ground. The bomb lets have
an additional delay element to make sure about their performance and to act in case of any failure in PD state. DIO has produced such ammunition in various caliber two of which are 130mm and 155mm.

The Signal Cartridges provided are in two types; with or without parachute to meet the purpose of use by consumer. Both types are small enough to be carried in the pocket of life vests, flight suits or life rafts and create illumination in various colors when necessary for distress signaling.

HAND HELD SIGNALS​

Various types of hand held Signals have provided for distress signaling by creating either illumination for night use, a brilliant colored smoke for day use, or a combination of illumination and smoke for either day or night use. They are generally small enough to be carried in the pocket of life vests, flight suits or life rafts.

MINI FLARE & FLARE M49A1​

To give warning of infiltrating troops by illuminating the field of the advancing enemy, trip flare M49A1 is recommended. To use as a distress signaling device for downed airmen or ground troops or as personal survival, the mini flare is provided.

HC SMOKE & HAND GRENDAE​

Hand grenade M18 in different colors as smoke generator to be used for signaling and 81 mm grenade for screening purposes in tank T72 are provided by DIO.

MAN OVERBOARD MARKER​

This product is a combination of day and night distress signal used to mark the area of a person faced an accident or lost overboard from a vessel or to mark the oil leakage area in the sea. The Marker is connected to a life ring and held in an inverted position . When the lifebuoy is released, an orange smoke is created and two lights are operated automatically by a lithium battery.

SMOKE POT, HC​

This is another pyrotechnic product of DIO intended for screening movements, live stationary and moving targets in wide areas as well as various objects and floaters in different tactical situations. The dense smoke of this product disturbs the visibility from enemy’s Helicopter or Aircraft. Igniting the smoke pot can be done either manually or electrically.

MTR RKT FLARE 2​

This DIO product is provided to illuminate the target at night and identify the own or alien forces from various distances and to use as a movable target in maneuvers or training operations. The Rocket is launched from a launcher mounted on the warship and can be adjusted in different angles from 5 to 45 degrees in Elevation and from 0 to 360 degrees in Azimuth due to its rotary launcher.

FRAGMENTATION HAND GRENADE & PRACTICE HAND GRENADES​

This product is a well qualified grenade having both blast and fragmentation effects and designed for use against personnel or materiel in a close combat. It achieves incapacitation of injury within a range of 8m of the point burst, as the result of high velocity dispersion of steel shots. In order to achieve the training purposes or meet the requirements of exercises, DIO has provided
Practice Smoke Hand Grenade in two types of smoke and sound. The smoke one has the same shape and size of fragmentation type but in blue color body and without any steel shots or explosives, the sound one is a little bit different in shape and color and by only changing the fuze, the body can be used for 1000 times. That is why the body and the fuze should be proportionally selected.

CS CARTRIDGE & CS HAND GRENADE​

The Riot Control product is used for establishing a safe distance between safety troops and crowds of demonstrators. It can be fired with either pistol or rifle having 38mm of caliber and can disperse a large crowd and prevent re-grouping. This product is an effective, simple-to-operate CS tear gas generator which creates a large dense cloud of CS smoke for crowd control and
dispersal. The delay in ignition ensures that the thrower will not be affected by the emission and the rate of emission is such that there is almost no possibility of the grenade being retrieved and thrown back.

SIGNAL MINES YM-II-S, YM-IV-F, YM-IV-F-T​

The YM-II-S is used for day signals & also to indicate the wind direction in airfields. The 2 model of flare jumping mine are: YM-IV-F which is a flare jumping mine with a removal trip wire fuze, that is activated by pressure load about (3-5 kgs) and the other one is YM-IV-F-T with an electrical fuze. When the fuze is activated, a detonator ignites the propelling charge & mine body
projected into the air up to about 100 m, then flare charge burns and comes down slowly by parachute in (30-40) seconds. These mines illuminate about 10000 m2 of area at night.

ANTI-TANK/VEHICLE MINES​

DIO has provided two types of Land Mines intended for use against Armored vehicles and Tanks: YM-II is provided with a double anti shock device operating mechanically and pneumatically and is activated by pressure of tank or track wheel. The mine can be scattered from Helicopters or laid manually. YM-II-E is similar to YM-II But equipped with an electronic arming-
disarming device which is programmable by remote control unit. YM-III is an Anti Tank minimum-metal blast mine which requires a pressure of 450-900 kg to activate.

MORTAR BOMB & ARTILLERY FUZES​

There are various types of Artillery Fuzes for the Ammunitions used in Tank and Anti-Tank as well as Field Artilleries. The PIBD M509A2 for 106mm HEAT, PDM 557 and its improved version PDM572 for most Artilleries and Point Detonating V- 429E for 125mm HE are well qualified Fuzes offered by DIO in this regard. DIO has provided two types of Fuzes required for its Mortar
Bombs; AZ111A2 a super quick impact fuze produced to be used for HE Mortar Bombs of 60mm, 81mm and 120mm caliber and M84A1E1, a Pyrotechnic Time Fuze for Illuminating Mortar Bombs.

BOMB NOSE FUZE & BOMB TAIL FUZES​

Nose Fuze F69A1 is an impact fuze applied for general purpose bombs and fragmentation ones. It is so designed that can have delay time of 0 to 0.25 sec by attaching a delay element to it. This element is inserted before aircraft flight. The M69A1 Nose fuze is mountable on all bombs using T45 adaptor and 1.75” thread. Tail Fuze F75 is an impact fuze applied for general
purpose bombs and fragmentation ones from 250 lb to 2000 lb. It is so designed that can have delay time of 0 to 0.25 sec by attaching a delay element to it. This element is inserted before aircraft flight. The M75 Tail fuze is mountable on all bombs using T46 adaptor and 1.75” thread.

PRIMERS & DETONATORS​

All primers and detonators ranging from Small Arms up to Artilleries are produced in DIO Industries with very good quality. The primers for Small Arms consist of small capsules in either Berdan or Boxer form and when the question is large calibers then they will be accompanied with primer seat and igniting tube to be a complete primer. The Detonators are required for completing the explosive chain in Fuzes and other parts.
