Well I see the opposite at this point Iran is showing most on the diplomatic front in Pakistan in the recent events in this month alone. Regarding Turkey, Iran if the things were so straight between Iran and Turkey they would not have been meeting in Astana under Russia rather they would have solved the situation among them selves

as you said Iran and Turkey are at the opposite sides of the table, yet have better economic relations compared to Pakistan-Iran, and that's the point.

Well not every country will give Iran technology to Nuclear bomb. Not even Iran's oldest ally Russia gave that technology to Iran and because of that technology Iran was able to come out of sanctions so there are strategic relations between the two countries.

There are two factors to this situation, one India is getting close to GCC and USA so that made Iran extend to Pakistan and at the same time it gave Pakistan reason to get closer to Iran. Now the Pakistani stance on Yemen and Syria has was the reason in Irani shift definitely but Pakistan's opposition on US policy in Afghanistan was the most major reason for Russia and Iran turning to Pakistan.

I am looking at it with different way the success of ECO is a necessity now for all. Pakistan is an agricultural economy mostly and making Urea from LNG is expensive from QATAR and it is cheaper from pipe line from Iran if we want to compete in the international market we have to bring our costs down to get the country on the right path.

Turkey and Germany are at the moment fighting the worst war of words and Turkeys future is merky in NATO and Russia is pushing for closer relations with Turkey.

with IP & Qatari LNG the tariffs were awfully high according to the reports as the deals were signed by or in political interest rather than national. But being a large consumer of energy be it IP or Qatari we are in dire need so that is understood but never TAPI that A in TAPI is the biggest problem we will face. TAPI should be scrapped for IP only.

The Irani Gas and Oil is not going to come to Pakistan but it will also go to China noe this all going to China will Give Iran abundant of money plus Pakistan will get the share of tax over the oil flowing through it's territory. One the other hand India will be more dependent on Oil from GCC which will put India on a crashing course with USA which uses same source.

That does not work when there is one foreign country that ready to pay more to politicians than Iran.

That is why things will be better now when Pakistan army runs the foreign policy. So it will be completed soon with China working on the project now.
