Iran warns: will hit militant 'safe havens' inside Pakistan

a

Awan68 does not share your views. Look at his post.
I have nothing against shia's , as i expressly stated that pakistan is not a sectarian state, but iran is one n hence views us as enemies, my views solely reflect the national security of pakistan, all this topi drama of cordial relations is an art pakistan learned and mastered from Us, we knw our enemies n never forget those who work against us...

If Iranian have any info about terrorist they must share with Pak Army they will take action against them, any cross border action by Iranian will not be welcomed here, instead in such case Iranian forces may face punitive action from our side. only advise is be cooperative and friendly with Pakistan.
Many Pakistanis are happy to see her blown up by Iran. an ally of India lol
This is too funny for me. Imagine wanting your country to be blown up by another.

I hope that Pakistanis do take a deep breath and think about the recent developments before posting 'doomsday' scenario here in an international forum.

The problem started on the LoC shifted to Chaman and swiftly moved to Iran.

The strategic game at play is advancing at a pace where the confusion it is causing is like a blessing in disguise for Pakistanis who seem quite happy to put either Iran or Sauds or Chinese or Americans first before them.

All the above mentioned parties are benefactors of confusion and someday when Pakistanis with one clear voice put Pakistan first, the foreign policy of those involved will need a massive do-over.

Joint efforts are needed at the border...to eliminate this terrorism issue as it effects Pakistan too..Any unilateral action will be responded back and further exacerbate the situation...

We have made countless offers before. All we hear is talk from the other side. If the Iranians are serious about protecting the border on both sides we need action and not threats. Of course we also benefit from a secure border. We don't approve any malicious actor harming Iranian sovereignty. We expect others to uphold similar views about our sovereignty. Pakistan is a country which is willing to mediate between the Iranians and Saudis to thaw a frozen conflict. No one can question our intent. We hold no enmity or hatred against Iran, but we are not fond of threats.

On a different note, we fully understand this change of heart from the Iranians after Raheel Sharif's role at the Saudi coalition. The Iranians haven't hidden their displeasure under a rug so to speak. This border issue only flares up at specific moments. Just look at the timeline of previous statements from the Iranians related to border security. It is no coincidence.

Pakistan needs to take care of the border issues fast. It cannot afford to have hot borders on all fronts.

Iranians need to realize it's to their advantage to work with pakistan and not antagonize it. This provocation is being done by a third party ( probably Trumpistan) don't fall for the trap.

There is more at play. This Iranian statement isn't solely aimed at border unrest. It serves many goals. We have to see through it.

You might want to read up on the Iran-Iraq War. The Iranians have quite an appetite for war and have proven themselves capable of fighting a long, drawn out war of attrition.

That being said however, the use of this language is regrettable, especially after Pakistan hosted the Iranian FM and assured him of full cooperation in this regard. With relations already hanging by a thread, any such untoward incident will only drive Pakistan and Iran further apart which would also harm Iran's own interest since Pakistan is the few remaining neutral countries in the Iran-KSA split.

Such threats are to be expected though when we let an incident like Chaman go unpunished. Pakistan's response should have been very strong and very visible. Simply accepting the Afghan's ceasefire and sharing a table with them a few hours after they mercilessly gunned down 12 unarmed civilians and 2 FC men was disgraceful.

If Iran want to increase list of enemies then only its enemies will be happy with it, currently Iran is the one who is supporting terrorism in Pakistan and allowing Indian agents to operate from its territory so Pakistan also have right to destroy terrorist safe havens in Iran and west and Arabs will be very happy and supportive if things get this level. Iran should understand that they are not in position to provoke Pakistan get away with it.

I, for one, strongly support the restraint and benign neglect shown by Pak State to such statements.

By reacting to each and every statement one looses the decorum of diplomacy and space of movements in present and future.

This Pak policy of studied quietness is the right course of action. By not entertaining such empty and counterporductive statments/views Pak State has made such words empty and meaningless. Professional!

Of course, young ones, with their passions would like nothing more than see world ablaze... luckily, this can't happen.

In this dark game, players are forced by Pak State to show their hands...and create opportunities for Pak to maximise benefits for Pak People at opportune moment. Patience.

One thing Pak friends need to understand that they have only one brother and one sister in the entire world who will NEVER betray them and ALWAYS stand with them..

And this brother and sister is every Pak Citizen. Pak can only count on Pak.

I do see signs of this realisation happening...slowly. Nothing in haste!

Pakistan as a state is neither hostile towards Iran nor wants any confrontation on its western borders at all. Think rationally and you would believe this statement.

Now these terrorists who are acting on behest of another country should be controlled and eliminated. Pakistan has seen ENOUGH of proxy war within its borders... this is them when we finally see some PEACE for everyone's benefit.

And if Iranians army crossed into Pakistan, that will be a violation of border. Like Iran felt heat for having its soldiers killed, Pakistan would not feel it any different and will have to respond to Iranian aggression, like it did to Afghan Army.

Solution only lies when criminals of this act are arrested and punished and I feel Pakistan is obligatory to do that.

Time is right to deport all Iranians from Pakistan.deport even legal citizens.Pakistan should change it's policy towards Iran.after friendship with India,Iran is becoming a hostile country.what about kulbushan and his operations inside Pakistan using Iranian soil? They must answer it first. Pakistan must ask Americans to handle this failed state Iran.they are getting out of control.Pakistan will strike deep inside Tehran if Iran even thinks of attacking Pakistan. I think Pakistan must deport Irani people now.they are a cancer for Pakistan.

This is setback to Pakistan. It's relations with India and Afghanistan are at it's lowest point. with Iran too not happy with Pakistan, a precarious situation for Pakistan.

Iran should understand that Pakistan has not yet taken a side vis a vis Iran-KSA. Pakistan is sincere to solve all the problems with Iran, however instead of working together to minimize the border problems such statements might push Pakistan to join anti Iran bloc, which will be detrimental for Iran.

These threats are becoming quite boring now!! Almost two decades of threats have lost their appeal.

You are living in america but I am sorry, you are a shia.I can smell you lol.
Very soon,we will deport you illiterate Iranians out of Pakistan.

Don't act so tough, fanboy. Your illiterance nation can't do a damn thing.

Dear persians! Pakistan is not KSA, Syria, Iraq or Yemen . Cannot even fight militants and dreaming of cross border raids in Pakistan. Kabhi aona khushboo laga k Pakistan .

We will strike inside Pakistan if the threat continues. You are not a nation we consider equal, on which level whatsoever.

It is time Iran teams up with Afghanistan and India against Pakistan.
