Iran warns: will hit militant 'safe havens' inside Pakistan

This sound is not good for pakistan all muslim neighbor afghainstan and iran starts aggressive against pakistan.. what kind of foreign policy we adopt ?

So iran hates you because they are shia and you are sunni.
Afghanistan hates you because they are sunni but dont understand your need for stretegic depth vis vis good taliban.
India hates you because they are majority hindu.
So china loves you because of your great contribution to ......

- Iran is a nation with no allies, isolated globally because of the Mullah regime. Btw, Pakistan is home to the second largest Shia population in the world, and Shias in prominent positions here. Iran and Pakistani relations are quite cordial actually.

- Afghanistan is a failed state, where 50% of the country is controlled by the Taliban. They have a puppet government, and even the West knows this, which is why they are negotiating with the Taliban. They are the new breeding grounds for ISIS. Afghanistan is a lost cause.

- India, we know what the reasons are.

- China is the new superpower in the world. They are getting other nations around them, like Russia and others, that are cooperating heavily with Pakistan.

You might "isolate" us with the likes of Myanmar, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh; but the important and powerful nations of the world want to work with us, and want to engage us.

Anyways more than typical rhetoric from Irani general, I 'd like to see Pakistani Shia members reply to this threat.
@BHarwana

Please do not doubt the loyalty of Pakistani Shias, despite what we have suffered due to the sectarian violence targeting us, we are still bigger patriots than you are, or will be. We are Pakistanis, and proud to be Pakistan. We do not need to prove anything to you.

This is a result all who hail GODFATHER who is too busy amassing huge wealth, no one gives a dime about Pakistan, Unfortunately Pakistan is too soft on neighbours, its the reason why a rag tag failed state like Afghanistan can tresspass into Pakistan and then you have Iran jumping on the bandwagon threatening to do the same because they know Pakistan is a banana republic who will not do anything.

It is Pakistan's most earnest wish to keep the border with Iran "cold". Any militant activity that could ratchet up hostilities along one of our only two friendly borders is interpreted as a challenge to Pakistan's integrity and the elements that attempt to sow seeds of discord between the countries will be dealt with swiftly and decisively.
Iran problems laying in between there own side of baluchistan, they have no control in those border areas, because there own forces are corrupt, they earning huge amount of money from human and oil smugglers, and most of the time those smugglers dont afraid to kill them when they blackmailed them to get more money from the smugglers,

Sounds nice but since 2013 , 43 iranian guards have been killed by pakistan based terrorists.
So either pakistan security forces are incompetent to tackle terrorists using their territory or complicit in facilitating the terrorists.
Either way iran has the right to protect its border guards in the way it seems fit.
You are a simply indian rant with provocative statistics, not welcomed with such statement. You people better improve and protect your side of border, but seems your armies are not capable (incompetent). Once you tried to cross border you will be facing Pak army retaliation.

So, after the Afghan savagery, how will we now respond to this latest threat? Are we going to allow the Iranians to hit Pakistani territory at will and take a reactionary approach? The way things stand at the moment I don't expect much. Seems like we are happy with the punchbag role.

Time has come for Pakistan to call a spade a spade. There are no friends, regional/cultural brothers, brothers in Islam etc. which we have imagined in our minds. Time has come to face the reality and solely work in our interest. All this brotherhood BS needs to go out of the window. Anyone who wants to be treated with force should be treated as such. Anyone who wants to be reasoned with needs to be reasoned with. There should be no middle ground anymore. This regional goodwill BS won't work anymore. Pakistan shouldn't take the mediator role upon itself. Deal on a per case basis. Plain and simple.

After 1979, it was born in their hearts. Just coming out and growing slowly.

I hope everything goes fine. However it seems they are trying to build pressure on Pakistan from every side.

India-Afghanistan-Iran.

Joint efforts are needed at the border...to eliminate this terrorism issue as it effects Pakistan too..Any unilateral action will be responded back and further exacerbate the situation...

If Iranian have any info about terrorist they must share with Pak Army they will take action against them, any cross border action by Iranian will not be welcomed here, instead in such case Iranian forces may face punitive action from our side. only advise is be cooperative and friendly with Pakistan.
