Turkish also has a lot of Persian words, an interesting fact is that Turkish has a lot of old Persian words that we don't use in Iran anymore. For example the Turkish word for pear is "armut", in Persian we say "golabi" but the word for pear in old Persian is Amrud.
They are only bluffing.
We use that as well.
No we use "amrud" for guava, we don't use "amrud" for pear. Pear is called "naashpati" in urdu/punjabi, we call pear also as "naakh" as well as "baggu goshay" in punjabi at least in gujranwala.
