Iran to supply Russia with “hundreds” of Drones

Iran's advanced drones are capable of finding their mobile targets in 2000 kilometers away through AI and target a specific point of it; this is how Gen. Salami described them.

So certainly Shahed136 is just a primitive case.
I still think the variant Iran stole to russia has been purposely dumbed down.

No AI, no E/O system, no IR seeker, raggedy noisy engine...all budget pieces for low prices but easier to churn out.

I think they are making the point that Iran did not supply Russia with any system,
Iran did though- because which Shaheds was Russia using on Ukraine before setting up its own production line? Iran sold Russia Shahed 136s already. And most likely Arash-2s and Zolfaqar/fateh-110 and Fateh 110s.

Heres the latest version of the patriot, its been especially modified to help the ukranians defeat those horrible iranian mopeds.:D

Here we can actually see it in action, tho from the looks of it the "patriots" were a little slow on the trigger this time, still better luck next time,eh?

No it’s actually S-136. But export version.

S-136 always had propeller engine. It has low RCS and low altitude flight which negates the sound to a large degree. Creating a micro jet version would raise costs much higher. So currently Iran doesn’t see the need.

However, this is the perfect battlefield to test what changes need to be made so S-136 to survive in the future. You have a large sample size (100+ drones) fired against a nation fully mobilized for war. Much more effective data analysis than Saudi Arabia and Yemen war.

Anyway….Export version has man in loop capability. Doesn’t need a E/O or I/O system since this relies on coordinates provided to it for targeting.

The question is if it has a radiation seeker which is what this unit is known for. To detect and destroy radars/air defense systems.

Whatever happened to the mohajer @Stryker1982, you never hear mention except for one or two pics of captured or down drones, do you think they just weren’t received in greater quantity like the shaheds, or cost or simply the Russians didn’t use them properly, could explain if true that Iranian trainers having to go train Russian operators.

Both Russia and Iran are denying those were Iranian drones.

Russia used a Mohajer-6, and f***ed up. Crashed it almost perfectly intact in the Black Sea. Not great, but not the worst. Frankly, UCAV training takes several months to get well aquainted as a professional operator. They were rushed, and clearly used it too early.

Training crews will take more time, not to mention training them on maintenance, and operating them fluidly, let alone controlling it. It's possible people were sent to Crimea to give them some "on-site technical support" till they are well acquainted.

They will receive them, alot of them, along with other UCAVs.

@shadihassan28 It's only getting started.
