Tehran (ISNA) - The 1st International Neuroinflammation congress & the 1st International Student festival of Neuroscience will be held on April 11–13, 2017 at Neuroscience Department, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences.

“This congress is designed to promote scientific knowledge, medical advancement, and the delivery of effective healthcare in the field of neuroinflammation. In this congress, we will bring together leading neurologists, neurosurgeons, scientists and other health professionals to discuss the latest advancements and current challenges in the field of neuroinflammation.” president of the Congress, Prof. Dr. Ali Gorji said.

“The aim of the 1st International Neuroinflammation Congress is to provide a context to gather the researchers and the experts of various fields to open up new horizons in the way of finding a comprehensive solution for the neuroinflammation disorders. Furthermore, the 1st international Student Festival of Neuroscience in Iran can also be a crucial step for making progress and motivation in the young researchers interested in this field of study,” he added.

“In this congress which is organized by Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Shefa Neuroscience Research Center, and Continuous Medical Education System, we invited well-known scientists from 16 countries,” associate professor of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Dr. Mohsen Foroughipour said.

The congress will be convened in Chamran Hall of Ghaem Hospital, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Mashhad, Iran.

“The congress will cover a wide range of topics including neuroinflammation in neurological disease, neuroinflammation, pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management, animal model of neuroinflammation, neuroinflammatory mechanisms and etc,” he stated.
