In a surprising move, Iran is to provide technical assistance and loans for Canadian first nation population. The move comes after Canadian first nation representatives appealed to Iran for help: Global Winnipeg | Manitoba First Nations risk violating Iranian sanctions

Because it is for the first nation population of Canada, the so called red Indians. They are still being discriminated in Canada and are living as poor people with few rights despite being the original inhabitants. They have appealed to Iran for help since Canadian federal government was oppressing their rights.

Believe me they would. And believe me it would boost Iran's image. Alot of Canadians are on the same page on this issue. But honestly I do not think Canadian government will ever allow this to happen. Even if they have to put down the first nation by force, as they have been doing for centuries now.
