I not against Turks..but Turkey when dealing with Iran should always keep in mind that Iran is now a nuclear state...few 40 year old F-16 and 50 year old F-4 can not match Iranians just as old F-14 ,MIG 29s and 50 year old F-4...I did not even talk of Iran's massive arsenal of BMs and Drones. ..so what would it be..Nuclear or conventional.. Nadershah scenario will be repeated....Iranians try to be friendly with Turks but we keep getting them bad mouthing us every chance they have..

Every Era has its own geopolitics and dynamics. Your region can be described as the mighty sasani empire as highest to a non existent sattelite vessel vanished off the map by Alexandar once and then by Arabs.
Talk modern relevance only. when talking about conflicts between modern states.
