TEHRAN: Iran has launched its own video-sharing website to compete against Google’s popular YouTube whose content is deemed inappropriate by the Islamic regime, the state television reported on Sunday.
The website (http://www.mehr.ir)
called ‘Mehr’, meaning affection in Farsi, aims to attract Persian-speaking users and also promote Iranian culture, according to its About Us page.

Pakistan should launch too as Youtube is banned...

.
Tehran launches it's own Youtube website, it's own filters and it's own cyber-police monitoring internet. Dictatorship in it's fullest.

. .
Youtube is going to be un-banned in a few days, don't need some cocky website to replace it.

But still its great they are so self reliant and hope they have success and i really hope youtube wont be un banned.
