China is Islamic? We shoot a lot more criminals and though we don't shoot adulterers we do shoot corrupt official (that after all is a non-violent crime just like adultery)
better to be good guests than act like these people.
'These people'?, what exactly is this characterization? Stop over generalizing us Indians. I am getting sick of your whining on everything these days.

Thanks I couldn't have read the bar chart without your helpful comment. As a side note, something like 98% of people in China support death penalty, it's our country, our choice.

People participating in those poles are either very naïve or just plain stupid or those statistics are made up, take your pick.

I like the fact that he quoted "facts and details" a Japanese ultra right website. That's like me quoting a Chechen website for details on Russia. The kid is weaksauce.
"errrr i know this professor...."
And I know god. Am I now omniscient?
The basic structure of such arguments is as follows: Professor X believes A, Professor X speaks from authority, therefore A is true. Often this argument is implied by emphasizing the many years of experience, or the formal degrees held by the individual making a specific claim.
Mention not. Apart from you the thread starter seem to miss that as well.(and singled out Iran)
