Iran Completes Conceptual Design Phase of Manned Spacecraft

Ye cheez hai megee!

And how the heck did you get to $800 Billion?
Iran has 80 Million people if you had a dollar for everyone of them that would be $80 million USD!!!
If you had $10 dollars for every one that would be 800 MILLION USD!!!!
if you had $100 for every one that would be $8 Billion USD!!!!!
if you had $1,000 for everyone that would be 80 Billion USD!!!!
if you had $10,000 for everyone that would be $800 Billion USD!!!!

bobba ay val!!

1st off NASA's 2016 budget was $19 Billion USD so a $1 Billion USD budget for the space program of a country the size of Iran is absolutely nothing!

With a budget of $71 Million USD a year you will never be able to have a real space program and maybe that's exactly why Iran now only has 1 research satellite in space right now that probably doesn't even work!

Having a $71 million USD space program means you don't really have a space program!
Means you don't have any advanced R&D projects, you don't have any plans on sending anything of any value to space, you don't have any plans on building any real usable satellites, you aren't building any new facilities and in fact you aren't building nothing...

SO $71 Million USD budget is absolutely absorbed! It just shows we are broke right now... And to top it off I believe you are mistaken because the budget for Iran's space program has been split between different organizations
for example the ISRC also has a $70 million USD budget...

how about this, the day after Iran puts a 500kg working communication satellite in GEO is the day I'll be ok with a manned space program NOT before!
And if you think 500 kg is a lot then check again because that's only 1/10 the size of Turkey's TurkSat that has mass of approximately 4,910 Kg (~10,000 lb)

Sending a man 175km up would have put Iran's Space program on the map 50 years ago but not anymore! Today it is far more impressive to put a sat in GEO than to put a man 175km up!

Iran managed 1000's of years without computers, aircrafts, submarines, etc SO WHAT?

Even AZERBAIJAN has a satellite in GEO so for Iran to spend it's recourses on building a space suit, a space craft & a carrier rocket all while it doesn't even have a single satellite in GEO is absolutely absorbed!

Don't try to make a fool of me. I quoted your own post where you said

1st off we have ~80 Million people if they were to pay $10 each that would be $800,000 Million USD not even enough to pay for a real space program!

$800,000 million? That's $800,000,000,000. 800 billion. Sort out your numbers!

You want Iran to spend one BILLION dollars? One BILLION? Are you ok? That is almost as much as India, who spend $1.2 billion. And they have 5 times the size of our GDP nominal wise, 9 times bigger by PPP! Not to mention their 15 times bigger population! Iran spending $1 billion on a space program is nothing but an unrealistic, irresponsible and wishful dream!

the day after Iran puts a 500kg working communication satellite in GEO is the day I'll be ok with a manned space program NOT before!

Newsflash VEVAK, you being "ok" with a manned space program for Iran has no bearing on who makes the decision. And a good thing too. A 500 kg satellite in GEO is FAR more difficult than putting ONE man into SUBORBITAL space. Putting a man in space is by no means a trivial accomplishment that everyone will ignore. Otherwise, it would be more than just 3 countries that have achieved it!

Iran managed 1000's of years without computers, aircrafts, submarines, etc SO WHAT?

My point is that a manned space program isn't much of a delay. The simorgh could probably do it, when they get it working. And that could also be used to launch satellites.

Even AZERBAIJAN has a satellite in GEO

Turkey's TurkSat that has mass of approximately 4,910 Kg

Those countries couldn't send a strand of hair to GEO! They don't even have an operating SLV! They send their satellites up using Russian or European SLVs. So stop dreaming and LOOK - 5 ton satellites in GEO are not coming any time soon. We might as well get this HUGE achievement of a man in space, since we can get it much sooner! GEO can wait.

Yet another number and another digit... an inside info? A kid that knows everything!!

I have a question if you may...

How much Iran must spend to have an active production line of 43 Shahed-129 UCAVs p.a?

How thick are the metal sheets used in the armored lower end of the hull of the new Sahand Class frigates being built in Iran?

I don't know! But clearly in your reality it cost exactly $0 to develop the Shahed-129 or else you wouldn't be asking that question

& what I do know is that the Shahed-129 uses cylinder engine which brings down the cost considerably compared to turboprop engines... Also, due to it's low speed you don't any special type of composite materials So producing 43 shahed-129 annually is really not going to cost a lot at all...

One of the most expensive parts and hardest to produce part of that aircraft for Iran is it's electronics from it's onboard camera's and sensors to it's command systems so depending on what type of upgrade it has the price of each aircraft will vary which means the price your talking about will very depending of what your producing and what your buying and by buying I don't necessarily mean from foreign countries!

In terms of the aircraft assembly 43 a year that's less than 4 per month so you don't need a lot of space to assemble and you don't need any type of special cutting or welding tools but you do need is a runway to test each one so most of the cost will be the cost of the land and the cost will vary depending on where it is and whether your sharing the airfield or building your own independent airfield

I don't know! But I'm sure if I go watch enough youtube video's I can figure if out that is if I was bi kar which I'm not!

Don't try to make a fool of me. I quoted your own post where you said

Show me where I said anything about $800 Billion!!!

$800,000 Million USD

800,000 million = 800 billion.

Do you even maths?
