congrats to Iranian team it was a good fight though victory was sponsored by Aziz Bouhaddouz of moroccan team

True.. Iran trashed nothing.. it had a good defence, but almost nothing at offence,, Morocco played much better on both offence and defence..

To be frank I wish both Iran and Morocco well but neither has any realistic chance of qualifying out of the group. It will be Portugal and Spain going through.

Neither Iran nor Morocco has any hope of beating Portugal or Spain. They are unfortunately in a different league. They do not have offensive capabilities to bother the iberians powerhouses and their offense will shred through Iran and Morocco defenses.

More development required before meaningful challenge can be posted against current European champions or a resurgent Spain. Both Iberian teams are potential World Cup winners. Very unfortunate that Iran and Morocco find themselves in such a group.

Morocco did beat Portugal in preparatory matches..

Wonderful game by the best team of Asia.

The first 20 minutes the Moroccan team played really good and owned the game. after that pretty much an equlizer until the last minutes which Iran pressed so much that the arabs made a mistake.

all in all a respectful team, unlike KSA which embarrassed the whole arab league .

we have still hopes for qualification to the next round. Good game

It's fascinating that football is the most valued and loved game in the entire of MENA, yet it's so funny and amusing to watch them play against each other. It's hilarious watching these Middle Eastern countries play and they are so serious about it as well, so tribal/so political and whatnot...but to a third eye it's a very good source of amusement. In reality none of these countries have anything to show for in international football.

I never post in Iranian section of the forum. I don't what your mullahs do inside Iran. Even if they hang every man who does not have a 10 cm beard or any woman who exposes 1 cm of hair I wont mind. Do whatever you like in your country. I only post about Iran intervention in other countries. And you guys hate it and constantly report me. This time your fellow opened a thread about Iran trashing an Arab country (his words not mine). So I just reminded which Arab countries were really trashed by Iran. Whats ur problem?

And yet they are no good at it. Can you imagine if we loved cricket as much as we do and weren't the top teams??? Watching iran and Morocco play, you would be mistaken to think football is an individual free-for-all sport. They're is no teamwork at all.

I don't think playing against Iran can be considered any estimate on how good a team defence is .
its nearly guaranteed that we just defence and let them do anything they want and after they became tired at the end of second half we look for a mistake to score one goal in counter attack.
