- Possible stronger stance against Russia's one-sided aims in Syria. Turkey and Iran stand at opposite sides in Syria but Russia's behavior disturb both countries. We both can try weaken Russia there.

monopoly over the use of force has always been one of the major indicators of a states stability/strength.

the fact that NATO turkey hasn't been able to put down some barely armed Kurdish rebel really speaks volumes about the failure of the Turkish state in this regards.

PKK is not a problems for us for years now, we strike them deep in ---foreign--- territory. We have bases in iraq and we kill them even before they can get to our border. Our main issue is with not pkk but ypg and their supporters which got thousands of trucks and airlifts of weapons from USA. Good thing we are also in Syria to stop them.

In 6th June, Our interior minister made a speech at the border. Saying there are currently 100 Terrorist at Mak-Dambat area. They reside in Iran, cross the border fire some shots and flee back to Iran.
