Iphone 5S causing major software Issues.............! Help me

I am having trouble with my IPhone 5S for quite sometime now. The problems started once my mobile updated to IOS 10. Does anyone have clue as to why this is happening the phone's software has started lagging while using several applications?? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Amongst one of my many devices is a iphone 5s , and yes after the ios 10 update it has started to lag quiet a bit . , update the apps in the app store and if the problem still persists then factory reset.
i found updating the apps does the trick . also try rebooting the device.

If you read my post i said one of my many devices . i also own an iphone 7 , in face i have every iphone since the 4. (which still works) cant say the same for android phones which have been there so long.
