Inzamam-ul-Haq will coach Afghanistan in Zimbabwe
Afghanistan have appointed former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq as their coach for their forthcoming tour of Zimbabwe.

'Inzy' will fly out to Harare on Sunday where the Afghans are playing five one-day internationals and two Twenty20 matches, beginning on October 16.

Inzamam said: "They have some good fighting cricketers and what I will be looking forward (to) is to better their batting technique in international matches.

"I don't have experience of coaching an international team. That's the reason I wanted to first see how it goes with Afghanistan. They are a fast-rising team in international cricket"

Inzamam is the third Pakistani cricketer to coach Afghanistan after Rashid Latif and Kabir Khan.

Afghanistan, who beat Scotland and gave Sri Lanka a huge fright in the World Cup earlier this year, has been looking for a new coach since Andy Moles' contract expired in August.

Inzamam, 45, retired from international cricket in 2007 after scoring 8,830 runs in 120 Test matches and 11,739 runs in 378 ODIs.

His contract is currently only for the Zimbabwe tour, but the Afghanistan Cricket Board chief, Shafiq Stanikzai, has confirmed that a longer contract could be on the table.

Yeh waisy intihai tuchi or choti bat ki hay ap nay. Anyways

In India, English speakers are considered much more intelligent than those who think and speak in regional languages. We tend to think that anyone who can't speak good English to be of no consequence. We think that Intellectual=Fluency in English. Hindi/Tamil/Telugu=Uneducated

I am looking forward to Afgan players and I am sure it would be most memorable series under Inzi's guidance.
I have always loved the Inzi's style of running between the wicket, full paisa vasool entertainer. Its been like a 5-6yrs since I have been missing that flair of Inzi in running between the wicket.

Some short glimpse...I hope you all will love this special art...

If I remember correctly running is not their strongest point at the moment either. They prefer their big hitters afridi style than batsmen who gradually develop their innings.
