I have to disagree. One is propaganda. The other is fact. The New Russians dont commit terrorist acts first of all. Ie no suicide bombings no beheadings no torturing no targeting civilians they treat pows humanely even exchange them for their own, they dont execute prisoners. They dont make terrorist videos threatening people. They arent religious fundamentalists. I understand your basic premise but your comparison is laughable.


Calling someone a terrorist isnt enough to clasify them as such. There are qualifiers. The only people the New Russians are terrorising are the dictators in kiev. See thats another qualified label. The kiev junta took power in a bloody coup and now rule by dictat. Are you beginning to understand?

But as far as I know, the majority of the Kashmiris are not happy with the current situation and would rather be either independent or with Muslim majority Pakistan. A small radical group of them act not differently than the Irish IRA or Basque ETA to demand independence by means of terrorism.

The Scots and Catalan are smarter in this as they had patient and used civil mens to reach their goal. Scotland and Catalan independence could set examples for many other independence movements.

Mmmh, yeah thee are indeed differences, Bavarians have one of the highest GDP per capita in the world while Kashmir one of the lowest. It's not forbidden to raise the Bavarian flag anywhere in Bavaria, we don't have military soldiers patrolling the streets of Bavaria and we don't have routinely mass demonstration against the federal government. I'm sure, there are thousands of other things that are different between Bavaria and Kashmir.

This would never work as the spiral of violence will just go down to the bottom. Violence will only subside if both parties give and take. Right now the centre just put more pressure on the Kashmiris and they retaliate by supporting a violent group. It's a loose-loose concept.

All comparisons that involve millions of people, different historic and geographic situations are always difficult if not impossible. The same could be said about Novorossiya, Catalunya, Scotland or even Bavaria.

2) For the referendum to occur Pak will have to withdraw troops completely, after which we can decide to hold one if we wish.
3)Demographics have changed considerably, extremists muslims there have killed made people flee the region, paks have been settling outsiders in their side. So at this point a referendum would be completely silly as none of the original conditions exist.

Would you encourage Pakistan to hold a referendum in Baluchistan? or America in Texas, and Germany in Bavaria,Schleswig-Holstein,Lusatia,Franconia and East Frisia ? Did you ask these people if they wanted to be a part of Germany?
