Investing in Kurdistan’s oil boom: a good idea for Abu Dhabi?

We can trust him.

Speaking of this guy, I've read a book couple of years ago about the formation of Shi'ee thought. It came to me as why Shi'ees make the perfect Atheists. The reason why that so is because they don't have any core belief in them other than severe innovation and "Kaka". The fact that your government would promote a man that not only killed Kurdish women and children but also basrawis and people from other areas prove that you people are not Anti-Baathists as you claim but Anti-Kurdish and Anti-Sunnah in reality.

I mean just take a look at Shi'ees in the world today when they live in the west majority of them are secular, Marxists and atheists this is not saying to hurt your feelings man. I'm sure you might believe in God but deep inside of you, you know it's all B.S. but you go along with because you want your people (Shi'ees) to be dominate no matter the case. I have even known Shi'ees from Iraq that claim they are Shi'ees but Athiests by the way.

But getting back to the topic. Even Saudi Arabia and Qatar have realized long time ago that this is the only option. A Kurdish Secular State under the control of Turkey alongside a Sunni Arab State under the control of Saudi Arabia is the only option to block Iranian Expansionism. You have just not noticed it yet.

@Quantifier

Do you actually think it will be that simple?

How will these small countries survive?
Are the arab sunni's willing to give up their claim to the oil fiellds ( since most of them are in shia, turkmen and kurdish regions.

When it comes down to Survival anything is possible. Anbaris will not allow themselves to live like how Sunnis are living in Iran or Syria. This is exactly why they are fighting. By they Way there is more Oil Undiscovered under the Sands of Anbar then all of the oil in Kurdistan and Basra. There are unfortunately former Baathists mostly Sufies and Secularists that are secretly working with Baghdad and Iran. It's easy for them be payed off. Many of the ruthless ones that have blood on their hands even of Sunnah Muslim Scholars in Iraq under Saddam have been promoted into the Iraqi Army to "root" out those calls of federalism in Anbar.

This guy was not involved in Anfal, how has he killed children, is every person that served in the former army a babykiller ?
How are shias secular, all the shias that do ashura in kerbela are not faking it, they must believe in their religion.
Kurds however are the biggest secular people today in the ME putting nationalism above all. Not a problem to me, you can do what you want.
Religion recquires faith, the strength of this faith differs per person.
Accusing me of anti-sunni is not going to work, let me tell you what you would like me to be, you would like me to be a terrorist holding an ak 47 inciting terror and chaos in Iraq so that you can go and build your Kurdish state, thats the only thing your interested in, neither sunni nor shia you could care about.

A seperate north-iraq with no kerkuk will be useless.
Kerkuk Turkmens have spoken out to stay united. So any referandum held in kirkuk will result kirkuk to join central government and not north-iraq. So that will result in an oilless noth-iraq a failed state to begin with.

Kurds are Sunni Buddy Majority of them, just deal with it:tongue: If I didn't have love for my coreligionists then I wouldn't bother to speak about them and their safety.

You do know how easy it is for a Shi'ee to be duped from their mullaas. YouTube is filled with clips about them claiming this and that are filled with the "Arsh of Hussien" and then they seek blessings from this and that. Then one day they come to the West. Then many of them find out it was all B.S. and their mullas were playing hide and seek with them. You know what I mean. Having a bunch of backward poor uneducated Basrawis slapping themselves in Karbala is not an act of faith its called Religious duping on a grand scale so the whole world can laugh out loud.

Ask Sistani do go out and do what those Poor Basrawis do on Karbala, really I have pity for them because they don't know any better. Most of them were Sunnis 150 years ago. Misfortune of them being right next to Iran and their missionaries has made their lives a living a Hell.

Kurds are mostly sunni by name, Kurds, especially the new generation has thrown religion away and replaced it with ultra nationalism.

I do not want to argue about the shi’a religion, its totally off subject and I am not into the sunni vs shia war.

Not Unless Turkey has something to say about that. Central Govt does not have any influence in Turkey as Kurdistan does. Referendum or no Referendum KRG has enough power to fend of military attack in case sh=t hits the fan.

Isn't that the same thing I said regarding Shi'ees (Minus the Basrawis) ?

Is it ? Could not figure that out.
Though, you agree majority Kurds are not religious ?

As for KRG fending of military attacks, we can only compare this by looking at our equipments only we have done this before, you guys claim things that are not proven so I say we skip this part, forget this :D.

Majority of Kurds are Traditional like how many people are in the region. When I say traditional I mean they Have Islam in their culture infused with in it conspicuously. Very much like Afghans. It is indispensable even though their might be politicians or some bad apples here and there that say other wise.

Treat them properly things will be fine. Like in Britain, many people want to join in.

Anyone with a bit of insight about the contracts will realize that these lick-a** contracts are only to buy protection from Iraq. The Kakas fear Iraq so much that they ended up giving 45% + of the oil to the companies as part of the oil production sharing. The main reason is to make the oil corps lobby their governments to side with Kurdistan in case of any conflict between Tarzani and Iraq.

Turkey gets oil for half price, I bet their not complaint.

Kurdistan contracts=40-50% of the oil revenues go to the foreign companies
While Iraqi contracts give only 1-3%.
