International Beach Kabaddi set to begin in Islamabad

There are things called traditional sports...,its also played in other countries and is very popular in Irab etc

Americans play base ball yet nobdy else in plays it! still it didnt stop them frm playin it?
It would be awesome if GoP supports sports in general.......Its a shame tht only cricket is supported in Pakistan and in even tht our players n corrupt PCB sucks big time!

Baseball is actually a decent game and one that requires a great amount of upper body strength. Pakistan should focus on sports like boxing/MMA that would have a great attraction and be loved by the Pakistani public. As a young kid and being around Pakistani's one thing we love to do is fight! Football is another game we can make great strides in and would have a great deal of popularity atleast among the urban masses.

I think cricket is a lost cause and the sport itself is heavily corrupt! My father said 20 years back the sport is corrupt and even when we have had free ticket's he has refused to go due various reasons from players lack of discipline to corruption. My father didn't even want to watch the 20/20 final which just goes to show how much he has lost interest in the sport!

Not sure if International is a appropiate word to use, where 6 teams are from Pakistan and other 2 are neighbours to be honest.

2 neighbours are IRAN AND AFGHANISTAN surely two foreign teams whats so difficult for you to understand that ? or is it US, UK counts as foreign teams for Indians as these two countries are goras ? but hey wait Iranians and Afghans are as much fairer as those goras.

This sport is bloody stupid and extremely boring too watch! Nothing worse than seeing fully grown men shouting kabaddi constantly so much so that you end up muting them! Pakistan has a great potential for succeeding in sports like boxing/martial arts which it should fund heavily in instead of idiotic sport's like Kabaddi, a sport that truly belongs too the stone age!

Very harsh words for Kabbadi, but I agree with you. Very unknown sport in this part Asia and when i see it, it looks rather dumb. Give me football or tennis anyday.
