That's the standard deviation within the population, not for any individual test-taker. The standard deviation itself is used to define the categories.

I guess you are right, but I still wouldnt really trust this kinda free tests. Plus for those with English not as their native tongue, it will be lower. I do remember a couple of questions on grammar that could have been tricky , although I am sure I got them right.

This IQ test is as fake as you can get. Here's a deal...Just don't answer any questions... Only hit "tukkas" and do it REALLY FAST and your IQ goes up... I guess this IQ test give too much weightage to the time ....
