So the Indian Armed Forces also go down the drain of centralized command.
1.This would mean all operations would be commanded from here which makes it easier for the enemy to destroy the chain of command and it is easier to mislead the small group leading the command.
2.This also indicates the growing managerial mindset of the armed forces instead of innovative minor operations by field commanders.Centralized command was something that Blitskreig greats such as Heinz Guderian , Hans Rudel,George patton opposed staunchly. This would be a more of an impediment as commanders with not much situational awareness will try to micromanage commanders in the field.
3.Instead cohesion among field units and their commanders should be improved by communication advances through COTS procurement like US marine corps CONDOR.Instead these expensive duds will restrict innovative field commanders.
There are pros and cons to both set ups. Regardless there are other pressing issues in our froces. We need to get rid of a certain prevalent attitude in the armed forces. Officers and the upper strata have this shitty castist attitude that stinks. Its the reason for attacks and suicides in our forces. Remember how a female US soldier noted the treatment mentality in the Indian forces where lower ranking jawans would bring and serve tea, Clean the high ranking officer shoes and crap, etc? Shows we are stuck in the 1940's with an attitude that reminds me of how the British treated us. But this is different .....its our own ppl who doing this
I don't even understand what this rant is about but...........................okay?
What dont you understand? When are talking about creating a f-king integrated war headquarters, ohter nations have done it decades earlier. What the f-k were we doing?
