Really it runs superbly on my system i think you should upgrade your wine version@fathre
If I remember correctly than it was Command and conquer general.. but game didn't start any way..
It depends if you are a gamer than i would recommend windows cuz i dont know many people who are willing to learn linux terminal commands just to play video games but if you are a light user than you need to get linux now its free,its light and its virus free well sort of

I have been hearing about that distro for a long time is it good with external hardware like ubuntu?Keep an eye on the Steam OS from Valve, which is also a linux-flavoured OS, developed from Debian 7.

as everyone which has basic skill how Linux systems work, from startup to the root files, and it can be easy to manipulate these systems to hack it or you can say remotely access it..It depends on what you define as hacking
it was latest version, but in wine there were her own file system in root directories where wine saves and install its file in its own folders other than main ubuntu software centers files..Really it runs superbly on my system i think you should upgrade your wine version

Yeah i know i have used dsl but its really funThere are plenty of scaled down versions of Linux like the now defunct Damn Small Linux or Knoppix which last time I read was x86 only.
Such flavours are either for embedded systems or if you want them on really old hardware

I have got a Windows 8.1 Pro + Media Center and downloaded the ISO image of Win10.While trying to upgrade if you try to use your Windows 8 key it doesn't work.
Never had issues with Windows 7 and above.Reinstalled Windows 8 last time because I have upgraded my SSD from 32GB to 128GB.
