from those pictures Viraat don't look that small in comparison with Vikki, what is tonnage difference between them, and what capabilities they differ other than their air craft launch capabilities?

Viraat - 28,700 tons full load

Vikky - 45,400 tons full load

Viraat has no arrestor cables and hence is capable of only operating VTOL aircrafts .

Why in picture they both look nearly similar in size where their tonnage difference is huge?

I know Viraat can not operate Migs on it, it is only good only for VTOL planes like old Harriers or F-35Bs, will India want to keep Viraat for future because it can operate F-35s on it and with those it will be a potent adversary for any modern military.

You can't always compare sizes from a photograph. The distance, angle etc can change perception. The vikramaditya is a lot bigger that the Viraat.

INS Viraat:
Displacement:23,900 tons standard
28,700 tons full load
Length:226.5 m (743 ft)
Beam:48.78 m (160.0 ft)
Draught:8.8 m (29 ft)

INS Vikramaditya:
Displacement:45,400 tons of loaded displacement[5][6]
Length:284 metres (932 ft) (overall)
Beam:60 metres (200 ft)[7]
Draught:10.2 metres (33 ft)

The biggest difference is that since it has arrested recovery, the Vikramaditya can carry much heavier aircrafts, of fighters with a lot more load. Also, it can carry a total of 36 aircrafts in various configurations. (Upto 30 mig-29Ks).

India will not keep the Viraat for future - it already costs a lot to maintain it, since it is so old. Once our indegenous carrier enters service, she will have to retire. In the unlikely event that we procure the F-35, it will be the CATOBAR version, not the problem plagued STOVL version.
