Since 13th August everyone in the country is having their eyes on the process and outcome of two long marches. TV channels have deployed armies of reporters and cameras to cover the event. PTI created a bigger hype then PAT. A fanfare was expected with some positive outcomes.
IK started his march with, if not facilitated by government, but with fewer obstructions as compared to TuQ. During the so many stories cropped up giving a positive edge to IK. However, his slow pace was disappointment for many. Finally, both the caravans reached capital city, with IK's stage set and TuQ still fighting to secure a strategically strong place.
IK appeared on the stage, had nothing new to say; and proceeded to Bani Gala for R&R. On the other hand TuQ could not speak to his people on reaching, yet remained within the crowd.
Next day morning IK came up with a statement before leaving Bani Gala, that too well past his given time. In which he categorically said that he will not go to Bani Gala again till objectives of Azadi March has been achieved. Though he stayed the night at Serena Chowk, but then left for Bani gala and found giving interview to TV channels while having Biryanis and Kheer, whereas his people were without proper meal arrangements on the road. He took long hot shower changed to newly starched clothes and came to the place of Dharna, said one line that today I will give historical speech of my career. It was a total turn off. Very poor handling of the show. No substance, nothing new and a clear element of narcissistism was evident in his attitude and talk. He went to the extent of calling himself Prime Minister Imran Khan.
On the other hand Dr Tahir ul Qadri spoke to his people with substance. His followers were disciplined, had all the logistics. They are self sufficient in terms of food, toilets and shelters to some extent. His followers did not have to go anywhere to get amenities. A very well organised march could be seen. Dr TuQ spoke with material statistics and an agenda to move forward. He was focused and had clear vision, not in a confusion like IK who gave a deadline of 7 days before civil disobedience starts.
Dr TuQ not only gave his 10 points agenda but also methodology to achieve his economic objectives. He inspired his people with positive vibes. He spoke continuously and spoke well.
Whereas, Imran would say one sentence and then there was filler of song.
In my opinion Dr TuQ has emerged as a better leader in comparison to IK. IK's attitude, his ill preparation for such mega event and foolish talks is dragging him towards the political grave which Sh Rasheed pointed out long ago in this talk on two bodies and one grave.
Government which was shit scared is now relaxed again because they have to fight only one front i.e. TuQ
After all that which has been shown on TV whom would you support if you had only two choices Inqlab March (TuQ) disciplined and educated crowd or Azadi March.(The Rowdy Rathore)
