Injured IAF MiG-21 Pilot Wins Landmark 2013 Case Against Govt, Court Orders Compensation

why do you think the airforce doesn't want it? corruption or is it a poor aircraft
If you match the technical specifications of Tejas with other comparative fighters then I is a very good platform. So I don't think the aircraft is poor, but if you compare it with other IAF aircrafts like Su 30s then definately Tejas cannot match it. IAF is looking for high performance from a cheaper mass production fighter, thats not possible.
Even the USAF use huge numbers of F 16s and only a small fleet of F 22s.

a good case study for mirage pilots in PAF :D
They won't get compensation though.
Both air forces are flying medieval age planes and life is always at risk of these talented boys.
Saw one of par f7 crash just after take off few years back :|
