Information minister to address Silk Route Forum in Moscow
Participants to discuss establishment of Eurasian organisation for cultural cooperation

ISLAMABAD – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid has left for Moscow to attend the second Silk Route International Cultural Forum meeting.


He was invited by Mikhail Shvydkoy, special envoy of the president of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation. The minister will address the two-day meeting on Monday.


Apart from political leadership of SCO members states, the prominent cultural personalities, entrepreneurs, representatives of region, observers and dialogue partners will discuss the establishment of Eurasian organisation for cultural cooperation.


On its formation, the body will emerge as a permanent multilateral social body, responsible for organising various cultural events in countries falling on the Silk road route.
