I will repeat what I am saying for past few years we need to dedicate IB for Anti Terrorism role only we should remodel and form it like FBI with forensic labs super computers along with 8000 strong Commando Force and for first 8 to 10 years it should be given under retired Major General of Pakistan Army who has served in ISI in internal wing of ISI

not just anti terrorism role but for all serious crimes that impact the state.
financial crimes, industrial level sabotage and espionage, big gangs and their protection racket busting etc.

I said Haqani Tried to negotiate with TTP to end their attacks on Pakistan but he failed but we kept Trying to negotiate with them despite Swat Failure was there for us. there are many names sake organisations and I think many of them will pass the buck saying its not their responsibility
I don't care which one the said agencies like CID, FIA or IB takes the charge of specialising only on terrorism but someone of these must also look into organised crime and serious crimes that have grave repercussions.

as of now FIA and IB only spends time on spying on opposition , bullying and harassing media and ordinary citizens.
