Indus Valley Civilization: Pakistan

Indus vally civillizations can not be counted as the history of pakistani civilians.. this civillizations is completly swaped by late civillizations...

there are very very less nations in the world which are currently practicing there ancient civillizations for ex: china, India, african civillizations

Completely agree.

exactly not.. but for your kind information every civilization has its own sign.. i m sure you dont know about it..

more over you are the follower of islamic civilization

friend civilization do develop with time...

and ours is Vedic civilization.. we dont claim extinct civilizations

Ancient Indus Civ is extinct and was definitely not Vedic. The point being made is that its part of Pakistan heritage like everything else in the Indus lands and valleys, and I dont know why you find it appropriate to derail such threads with ownership claims rather than contributing positively.

it seems you are completely unaware of vedic civilization..
indus vally civilization is completely different from vedic civilization..
we do give examples from vedas just like you give from holy Kuran..

i m not derailing the thread but correcting the last post which i quoted recently..

yes the site is now of pakistani land.. but it is not your history

Yup and we guys are aliens ?
Wats Islamic civilization?
Islam is a religion which bases ones life style and culture(just a lil bit) but not a civilization in itself.
Also try learning about some basic stuff of indus civilisation still in use ion Pakistan..just an example is the Agkan worn in Pakistan a garment u also see on the Priest King.
Thanks

no religion do not tell the culture and lifestyle

for ex: a hindu would remain a hindu if he lives in USA or europe.. his life style may be different to indians living in india but actually he is not practicing vedic civilization because while being a hindu he follows western civilization
but not a civilization in itself.

please consider the following fact, and tell me how you practice indus valley civilization
"The Indus Valley people worshipped Sakti and Siva. The worship of trees and animate was quite common. The Vedic Gods were the forces of nature such as Indra, Varuna and Agni. The worship of images was quite common in the Indus Valley. But the Aryans started worshipping images only during the later Vedic civilization."

most of the people do confuse with religion and civilization...
but religion and civilization may or may not be same.... i mean there characteristics are different

Ok even if i believe tht religion doesnt change anything buit tell me something my friend.
Does it change ur roots?
Does it change culture?
In case of india wat vedic civilization r u talking about?
U guys were under mughals for 1000 years then came british and now wat vedic is india?
Does more then 1000 years of islamic rule effect ur so called civilisation? like it does according to u in our case where the rulers of Nowaday Pakistan were mostly muslim or among our own?

Indus civilization was extinct much before islam... i never said there was clash between indus civilization and islam.... what i am saying is it is not your history....

for examples maxican cannot claim for maya civilization... similarly Christians cannot claim for anciant greek civilization which too followed so many gods

I wont say vedic civilization is extinct. Throughout ancient times, practically in each and every century sadgurus have come and shown us the ways of the vedas and upanishads, its different that very few people follow it, but extinct definitely no.

Going back to the topic both India and Pakistan should be very proud of IVC which happens to be one of the oldest and most advanced civilization.

what it has to do with vedas--the rligious book??plz answer

v r simply claiming that indus valley civilzation is a part of our heritage..obviously how can we be followers of it if it was discovered in 1921 after thousands of years!

i m sorry for that i actually mean Indus valley civilization and not vedic civilization.. vedic civilization is still flourishing.... and most of us are its members....

i have corrected that too in my earlier post.... thanks for pointing out my mistake

In that case Taj Mahal belongs to Pakistan and all the other Muslim architecture belongs to Pakistan because the vast majority of Indians dont follow Islam while in Pakistan 97% of Pakistan's population follow Islam.

To see Mohenjo-Daro, Harappa, and Mehrgarh you must travel to Pakistan if you travel to India looking for Mohenjo-Daro Harappa then you wont be able to see it just like the case with the Taj Mahal, its Islamic architecture but is located in a Hindu majority country, India.

I will say it again. It is a very welcome change for Pakistanis to start exploring and acknowledging their pre-islamic past. It is good for the sub-continent and will take us towards peace.

For Pakistani members, let me tell you that if you are think that Indus Valley can be de-linked from the all the other excavations and findings like Dholavira and Dwarka, then you are mistaken. It can only happen if you destroy and manipulate the archelogical findings.
