The US even supported the mujahedeen & the Kurds. Why on earth wouldn't the US supports the 4th largest country in the world, the only democracy in ASEAN & A major ally of the US in the region? There's actually more reason for an intervention because this will give the US an excuse to finally declare war on china without being seen as an aggressor.

Also we are in total control of Chinese shipping routes & if we want to we can bleed china to death without having to go to china.

Dude there is no way China and Indonesia would go to war ... they're on generally friendly terms. If anything, Vietnam and Indonesia has had quite more severe confrontations than between China and Indonesia (the only confrontation mainstream media focuses on). I heard just recently, Indonesia just blew up several more Vietnamese fishing boats. Heck, IIRC, China is even a weapons exporter to Indonesia.

China don't go around CRYING FOR HELP like Indonesia does.
Even with primitive arms, China fought off the US plus their LACKEYS in the Korean War.
China have built up its military power despite sanctions and embargo.

I don't think this is the stance of the Indonesia government or the military at all ... I highly doubt Indonesia wants a confrontation, especially militarily, with the Chinese. After all, Indonesia's economy could definitely use Chinese money. I'm sure you can tell these SCS disputes are all secondary to money/economics. The possibility of war between China and Indonesia is quite lower than even between China and Vietnam or China and Australia (which are already marginal).

Natuna was declared a combat zone by the western command fleet meaning its already a done deal that we see china as an enemy. Also why the hell do you think we've been granted clearance to buy osprey & F-35s if not for use against china?

Even Australian defense plan now include sending fleet to Indonesia to intercept Chinese military & shipping fleet. Meaning there's a coordination between the 2 country & a potential for alliance.

Economic while important are secondary to national sovereignty.
