u are absolutely right, some Indians (mostly non Bengalis) just don't get it. Awami league needs India to be in power and India needs Awami league to keep the NE militants in control. simple give and take no brotherhood involved. Sorry to say but Indians who consider Bangladeshis brothers are downright delusionals

In a cultural and historical point of view, I suppose we can be seen as brothers. But, from an economic and political point of view........not so much. Though our relations have been more cooperative, at best we're at a level of mutual respect.
