PLA trials 'training ship' with potential amphibious capabilities

The People's Liberation Army's (PLA's) ground forces recently began trials of a new small multirole support ship, which along with the PLA Navy's (PLAN's) testing of its new Zubr-class hovercraft, suggest the development of a growing capability to contest disputed islands in the East and South China Seas.

The PLA has long maintained a fleet of of medium-sized, flat-bottomed landing and assault ships to supplement the larger ships of the PLA Navy. The new ship, which resembles a smaller version of Russian's new 5,000-ton Project 11711 Ivan Gren assault ship, is designed for open-ocean transit. The designation for the estimated 2,000+ ton-displacement PLA ship has not been disclosed.

We piss the world off because we are getting rich and powerful, the West has this idea that an Asian country should be poor.

If you don't believe me, check out the Russo Japanese war, and the treaty that resulted from a Japanese victory brokered by the Americans. Compare it to some of the other treaties Americans brokered with "lesser" African "nations."


As to peace? China has mostly been peaceful throughout its history, while Europe on the other hand has been in constant warfare.

Americans have been in more wars than we have in the past 50 years, and for 25 of those 50 we have been crazy.

Besides I said prepare for war, I didnt' say go to war, just prepare for it. Is that not what a military is for.

No one is ruining it. No Indian has posted any illogical stuff but only questioned some hypocritic arguments where you cry when for India but boast when for China. I mean double standards are always questioned rite?

Right. After invading Vietnam you guys were not ready. Hence the so called peace. Have to build up your military before you are really ready. You guys wrote the Art of War so you know how to implement that concept.
