Hasina abolished the popular Care Taker system that held elections since 1990. With zilch chance of winning a credible, fair election she remodeled the constitution to keep permanent hold on power. How can a autocratic regime survive by rampant massacre in the backdrop of 0 popular support? Well awami regime now runs all state institution by their cadres while the Judiciary has been put inside a tiny little cage to look after awami interest. Rallies in city have been banned while all private TV channels are owned by AL leaders & cadres. Not to mention the open and unfettering Indian support to AL’s stance on holding a unilateral election. India made it clear that they want to see AL in power no matter what.

Awami regime has gone berserk on the backdrop of this firm Indian support. AL is simply banking on unilateral Indian support to turn this country into a permanent vassal that would only serve as a cannon fodder for India’s regional ambitions. Over the last 5 years all state institutions have been totally destroyed and literally turned to awami party outfits. Army & BDR (now BGB) have been severly weakened. The BGB now kills innocent protesters instead of guarding the border.
The India HC in Dhaka have made it clear in diplomatic terms that his country will try to keep Hasina in power no matter what. They made an open statement saying that India is in talks with other countries regarding BD while another one of their official made it sound like BD is India’s property and no other country should interfere in BD’s affairs. India has the sole right to decide things for BD. They are pretty angry at the US for not following their policy in regard to BD.

He is routinely meeting with awami leaders such as Hasina’s son Joy and sister rehana. Also indian low level diplomats recently met a puppet awami EC and recently supported the declaration of election schedule by the EC (boycotted by all parties) after which Dhaka was literally sealed off from the rest of the country in the face of 60 hr opposition blockade.

The indian state minister Sushilkumar Shinde openly reiterated support to Hasina saying India would "repay" Hasina's gov . While their journalists and think Tanks are calling for military intervention if necessary to keep AL in power.

India is desperate. They got things from this awami regime over the last 4 years that they could never have dreamed off from any self-respecting sovereign country . People are being killed by this dalal regime everyday now.
