i didn't know that!

Actually India does have over 50000 Anti Tank Missiles , ie we can fire 6 anti tank missiles at each chinese or pakistani tank and still have several thousands left

but most of them are Milan 2T second generation Anti tank Missiles ,
India is currently Looking to purchase upto 20000 next gen Man portable Anti tank Missiles to replace some 30000 soviet era missiles
and the likely winner is expected to be American Javelin Missiles


India will also purchase some 850 Hellfire missiles along with 22 Apache Attack Helis

While Rafale will come with about 1000 AASM Anti armour kits

The likely winner is expected to be the

missiles+guns,with then no.of guns decreasing and missiles increasing.as of now missiles have numercial superiority.

the only gun systems thats gonna stay for the future is the ZSU-23-4M 'Shilka'

9K22 Tunguska

I gotta thank acetophenol for showing us very good information about our country`s preparedness

SAM are to protect only of areas of importance(point defense)... U cannot provide entire SAM network to the whole country(as some member where saying as impregnable ). During war the enemy will search for a loop holes. Few SAM s are out of date but ya we do have upgraded the systems.
Watch out for s400 too, u never know .
