India's Superpower Delusions

The author wants us to be like the rest of the world. west became rich by exploiting east and rest of the world and Chinese are doing the same in their very unique way. India will achieve success but in our unique way. Be little patient.

They have been trying to build a tank and a jet since the eighties with little to show for it than a lot of money wasted. Superpowers do not have mass imports of weapons. Super powers manufacture their own weapons

Pakistan has been trying to build a nation since early fifties, with little to show for it than a lot of money wasted.Supoer powers have a country.. same cant be said about Pakistan. It is nothing but a fragmented group of people, held together by hatred towards India

Delusions are just that delusions.
Precisely! In this case, it simply applies to the naysayers!
India has as much chance of becoming a superpower as they have of being secular
India is already there. Gone are the days when armies were the sole means of attaining superpower status. One cannot simply ignore 1/6th of the global population hellbent on surging ahead!! Coupled with able and visionary leaders derived from the very population! Beat that!

Brazil has the 6th largest economy on Earth, compared to India, which has the 11th largest economy.
Yet you never hear Brazil screaming about how they are a "superpower" in the way that Indians do.
India is not even considered a great power. India is a middle power, that believes themselves to be a superpower.
You guys are really very predictable, arent you? Anywho, there is a thing called "drive"- a thirst to achieve things. And Indians are famous for that! Thousands of years of knowledge and culture passed down generations which the present generations know how to put to good use. Brazil, due to their lazzie faire attitude lacks that drive. India has it. If you cannot see that difference, you've got a lot to learn: and for that one needs an open mind!!

No doubt Pakistan was part of Indian continent, but for only 200 years.
Guess who ruled both of us in this period? BRITISH

Who failed to keep Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Burma after the rule? INDIA.

Ask ur Ancestors that what they think of partition.....
They have lost there homes, there lands, even thier families......
It was very easy for u to make such confused asumptions bcoz u sufered none

Pakistan is 5x times bigger than Bangladesh. Don't know how your math works....

Oh look we have an Euclid here. *facepalm*

While we may have broken 1 piece, India broke into 4 pieces: Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Burma
Please remember history

Did you sleep through your geography classes mate ?

Trying to build a tank, well my dear friend
If you talkin about Arjun,it's already inducted and Improved version undergoing trial.
You Talking about a Jet ??Well again Marut was Indian First jet but Tejas is 4th Gen Aircraft with 2 leaps of generation from 2nd Gen to 4th Gen.

Superpower do not mass imports weapons ??Well for your Highness we snatched this crown from your daddy just a year back.
:D

India has the potential, it just needs to realize it. However, a major constraint is the price of oil. India is developing at a time when oil prices are extremely high. China developed when oil was pretty low. Japan developed when oil was cheaper than water. The cheaper the oil at time of development, faster development is.

There is a bit of advice for you crazy pandas in there too. Pakistan wants to see China as a superpower , only one who can screw it up is the chinese people if they contract the same disease.

Your are an epic ,what about Pakistan ??? I never seen a person in my life ,who wishes other country to be a superpower. That what we called slavery attitude. You guys can't lead but you are born to be followed others. What a bunch of losers you guys are.Even Sir Jinnah would have had killed himself by lookin at your posts today.:coffee:

yeah i agree. but the fact is that china is still developing and is only achieved an economy 1/8 its true potential. i am comparing the population of america and china and the economy. so that means that china still has a long way to go and faces a similiar problem like india of oil imports. but i believe eventually energy crisis will also be solved. i dont think neither india nor chinese population can be stopped from joining the middle class. its a gradual process. and 3 billion together could produce an economy equivalent to the combined economy of the rest of the world.

I have out most respect for Chinese members here but Pakistanis members here are delusion citizens who thinks they are one of China Province.Daddy china will bailout their county from current Sh*hole.

That's why India is looking forward to alternate fuel, the "Nuclear Fuel".. There is lot of aggressiveness in that area but I think India need to make right use of Solar energy.. There is huge potential there - Being at equator, sun never stop shining there..

Sorry, India has got no chance to success, because

1. India GDP sharly slowing & far below gov target
2. Very high trade deficit
3. Very high debt
4. Very high Inflation
5. Very high unemployment
6. Rupee historically record Low

Will india collapse soon?

Don't forget, that India was called the "most disappointing BRIC nation" by the person who came up with the idea of BRIC in the first place, the Goldman Sachs economist Jim O'Neill.

Also, India is the only BRIC nation that got downgraded by S&P, due to poor economic fundamentals.

Even the most famous Indian-American (Fareed Zakira) went on to say that India should be replaced by Indonesia in BRIC.

Honestly anyone that has seen the misery and chaos of an indian city with it's hordes of beggars with their festering sores, the sewage running foul through it's narrow streets, would never equate poor wretched india with "super" anything, but a old barely living diseased pensioner on it's last legs.
