India's rise as a superpower has China on edge

At the present time, we can equate the gap between India and China to the gap between Pakistan and India. We are so far behind in literally every field including defense. Hope the dumb politicians realize this and work towards reducing this gap.

India will not become a "super" power. Thankfully it doesn't have to. It simply needs to become strong enough to defend itself from its potentially dangerous neighbors. This requires infrastructure, command and control, training, and equipment revamps on a massive scale (all incomplete for now) . The nuclear triad becoming complete wont hurt either.

For those of you who havent seen it, America might be a military power but socially, economically, and politically, it has stagnated badly.

For the time being, yes we are Regional Power moving towards becoming a Great Power which will lead to Super Power.

Always target for the Top and work for it...... Maybe little late, but will definitely reach there.

Thanks for advise we are already working harder and will achieve it......... we make only best and accept only best our bench mark level of acceptance higher then anyone in world.

Many countries in world only buy military hardware if India buys it because they know Indian benchmark is quite hight. Even when countries which are planning to buy F-16 and thinks they are good plane, India on the other hand didn't find it good to even consider.

Every country has its own benchmark of acceptability , some has low and some has high and some are very high.

All powerful countries operates Aircraft carrier because they are biggest ship any Navy can operate and handle, so tell since when Chinese operating the Aircraft carrier ???

you sound like a newbi who knows nothing about superpower, a country (india) cannot produce good quality 5.56mm and 5.45mm rounds have to import from other countries, and put 'made in China' paint job on a plane call it indegenous is a joke not a power.

and also you need to educate yourselfe the meaing of having one WWII standard AC and one modern AC battle group are two very different things. the former one is a floating cofine and face project (your indians speciality), and the latter one is the symble of power.

Well something we buy something we manufactures, u forget to mention other 2 aircraft carrier is making with india with indian shell....... oh forget to tell u make subs but still buys russian kilo class subs because you navy knows your design own sub is not good.
