Indias hindu cow mob rule as religious debate rages

vizag.-Coastal andhra
You are from coastal Andhra and you are complaining ?

My father was posted in Vizianagaram. I used to visit often.

Have you ever been to the interiors of MP, or Chattisgarh, even interior Andhra for example ?

Yes ofcourse....Araku...no facilities except smooth raods connecting cities and hamlet.
But as part of constituency we deserve some capital support from centre which they promised..it should be addressed.
Thats it.....
Happy diwali:enjoy:

You from one of the well-to-do regions of the country. There is always scope for doing more. Just not at the cost of the comparatively backward regions. So, probably, you will get what you want. But the priority will be elsewhere.

Happy Diwali to you too.

ok, I don't support governments banning anything and I've also on occasion eaten beef, I have 0 issues and don't feel strongly about all the recent drama but this set of pics made the animal lover in me happy :D

a cow's meat might be tasty, but it's a such a sweet benevolent beast, and given that slaughtering it here does hurt the sentiments of the majority of the population, even the veggie liberals I suspect, we should spare it.

think of it like a cigarette, generally not polite to light up in an elevator full of people, or even a taxi for that matter so why so much fuss here when it's been banned from Nehru's time to begin with ?

in some north east states it's legal, in 100% muslim neighborhoods across India I suppose it has always gone on and will continue (though the supply lines will be affected)

about the media frenzy around the dadri case.. throw both the murderers and those that instigated it in jail and let the law take it's course.

the fringe right are idiots but the current Indian leftists are some of the nastiest elitist scum you'll ever meat. fuk these people, they should ban marx next.

. . .
Hindu bigots...
There are some people in N.India mad with religion..Ex: check above pic ( How these guys were patrolling roads for cows.)
Thank god S.India is far away from this mess.

looks like, you have no idea abt gau rakshak dal, hyderabad

Its not a cow, its their god.

Its just a cow and a bovine that we respect.

. . . .
hindus for centuries drank milk of cow over buffalo. this is the reason behind reverring cow.

So basically it has nothing to do with hindu religion but with benefits then why hindus killed Muslims for consuming or keeping beef? or slaughtering cows?

Its not just muslims that got killed, a hindu was killed too for protesting against cow-slaughter. at least the family of muslim victim got heavily compensated by the local govt. while the govt. didn't express even remorse for the death of a hindu, and the victims father had to go back to selling flowers after his sons death. coming to your question, every country protects certain animals. try killing a horse or bald eagle in USA, you get treated worse than any terrorist. we are no different to them just that horse and bald eagles get replaced by bovine and some wild animals.

Everyone drinks milk but everyone does not revere.

Hindus are emotionally bounded.

Man !! I was happy with each and every policy of BJP but last beef ban swirled me....Even some tribals pray to plants..So it doesn't mean that one should stop eating vegi and start chewing limestone...Babri masjid was downfall of BJP in 2002.If situtaion goes out of hand..it will be beef ban issue for BJP once again.
But all works are going on fast pace when compared to Cong. govt.
I have 50 % satisfaction on this party.

am not at all with BJP double standard in AP.. I don't see any difference between Congi and BJP, as a matter fact both caused huge damage to AP. Venkaiah Naidu argued in parliament that centre should grant special status for 10 years.. after getting power they take course correction, turned their back.. Venkaiah Naidu himself take you turn... BJP is just like any other political party who explores public sentiments for their gain... as far as I know they exploit our sentiments... I expected Pm will announce a small package(least) to AP when he came to foundation stone ceremony.. but he just gave some mitti and water. didn't even bothered to announce anything like, he did during Bihar campaign and Kashmir.....
