the concept above Hollywood,i am sorry as far as i think they r only complimenting as,Indian movies r nowhere near Hollywood(we r atleast 3 decades behind in terms of Technology,themes and storylines)i am sorry to sat this(as u r a rajni fan)his movies r complete thrash,u can differ with this

Trash - no way.

His movies dont contain wanton violence,no lewd actresses,no bikini babes and you still call it trash.

His movies are a whole lot better than those cheap skin-flicks that are in plently in all languages and especially in Bollywood and they provide wholesome entertainment which the total famly can sit down and watch together without asking the kids to shut their eyes for some scenes

i have heard many Indians bragging about how SRK is the biggest star in Asia and how his popularity exceeds that of a Hollywood star,but they forget that Jackie Chan and Jet Li also live in the same Asia with 3 times more popularity and more than considerable and noticeable presence and fan line up in Hollywood to which our industries think they r racing with

Actually Rajini is paid more than Jackie Chan and Jetli.

But even in that criteria Rajini scores more than any Indian Actor.

He has a variety of charitable institutions running and he has even given two marriage halls in the prime land of Chennai to a trust so that poor people can do marriages without spending big money.

And I dont need to mention his humility and spirituality here.

This guys is a even better "human" than he is an actor.

To add to the above when Rajini's movie "Baba" flopped it was said that he returned the money lost by distributors in my state Andhra too along with the one's in TN.
