What's new

India’s growth already starting to sag

Wow, being a Chinese, I know none of these. Ain't you guys a little too sensitive? :agree:

Like I said, it doesn't matter to me. Heck its like calling some foreigner a gweilo, my friends do this all the time with their caucasian friends in a friendly teasing way....so its only as offensive as the receiving party chooses to take it. Its a forum and who really cares. But no idea where the mods exactly draw the line given some others do take it offensively....its best to stay clear of this grey race/ethnic based moniker language to begin with. I'm not about to go to some italian dude in New york and call him a wop now am I...some may laugh it off, others will bring out the knives.

What is intriguing is the way this guy goes about trying to pass it off as some well known friendly slang and uses a baby name site thinking names = terms, knowing full well how transliteration works in Chinese to foreign language.

Yap, that is why we are in the mess of PC in the US. He used the word, and nobody paid attention or simply laughed it off until someone called up everybody to report him. In the process, more people felt insulted. Kinda silly.

Then, go through the first paragraph.
then, check stats, you will find which actions occurred and for which sort of actions I was asking for.
India's economy is consumption driven and even internet consumption has caused a significant excess of growth. Completely irrevalent to your pathetic trolling.

It "has" caused, not by talks.:D For second part, I was pitching for a tax regulation to ease taxes on mining. You call it talk talk (I can give just facepalms), what will you do it's done?:D Will you apologize in front of us? Such plenty things happened here last year.

What's meaning of this constant tagline?
For more info,
I have met you earlier on D.F.I. (Defence forum of India).:D

Yet when we use the word Ch**ki you lot go ballistic even though the word merely means "Of china"

PDF keeps a list of terms that are considered "racial discrimination". The term he used was not one of them, and most of Chinese did not even know it. You did a very good job in spreading it. :partay:

Yah even the ah-cha/ar-cha/a cha I dont think it report worthy or anything. Just want him to admit that was his intent, looks like he wont do so and is passing off on some "name meaning" that he googled up.

Its clear what he meant:

for example Indians and Middle Eastern people are called ar-cha (阿差) or mor-law-chai (摩羅差). For further information, see Chinese Wikipedia link zh:摩羅差.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gweilo

Notice how both cha and chai are transliterated from the same character in this instance.

I have never come across ah-chai as meaning "friend" in some cantonese slang....and i know cantonese slang better than my cantonese (which i have mostly forgotten these days)....given I have quite a lot of foul mouthed hong kong buddies hehe.
I have never come across mor-law-chai (摩羅差). maybe its a degrading expression in HK, but not in Mainland China
