What's new

India’s first manned space mission ‘Gaganyaan’ will send three persons to space for seven days

Indians are actually much more diverse than you can think but basically there are three categories
1 aryans( usually north indians )
2 Dravidian( usually south indians )
3 ahoms(mongoloids, north easterns)
We are actually a combination of brown, fair and black ,

Care to tell me what astroid black is?
Lol he comes from a place where all people look the same. He won't understand diversity

.
Rest of the world who sent mission on moon sent first monkeys to prove, perfect their tech but India going to send human first probably monkey later .... strange

Neither the US nor the USSR send monkey's to the moon. The animals were used in initial flights as there was no scientific information on whether they could survive zero G and radiation for prolonged periods. We know now, so sending animals in space is superfluous.

Of course they all look the same , haven't you heard they think they are Europeans stuck in southeast asia:rofl:
This idiot talking about indians and black people is the victim of this ideology
, they think they are great conquerors they like to call themselves ataturk and arabs and the ones that ruled ruled indian subcontinent for hundred of years but actually these are the product of the same conquest ,and people who lost their identity their very culture and converted to make political and economic gains

.
Ignore the haters. Hopefully it succeeds.

I am educated enough to blow your bubble.
So mr. educated you hold a degree Master of Paint Jobing, let me test your madarasa knowledge.

How many times has Russia sent a probe to Mars so that we can copy and paint job it?

ISRO conducts Rail Track Rocket Sled deployment tests of the Gaganyaan Pilot and Apex Cover Separation parachutes

Mar 06, 2023

ISRO conducted the Rail Track Rocket Sled deployment tests of the Gaganyaan Pilot and Apex Cover Separation (ACS) parachutes in cluster configurations at the Terminal Ballistics Research Laboratory (TBRL), Chandigarh, on March 1 and 3, 2023.

The first test simulated the clustered deployment of two pilot parachutes. One parachute was subjected to a minimum angle with respect to flow conditions and the second parachute was subjected to a maximum angle with respect to flow. These pilot parachutes are used in the Gaganyaan mission to extract and deploy the main parachutes independently.

The second test simulated the clustered deployment of two ACS parachutes under maximum dynamic pressure conditions. The test also simulated clustered deployment at a 90-degree angle of attack conditions for the crew module. The ACS parachutes are used in the Gaganyaan mission for the separation of the apex cover mounted on the Crew Module. Both pilot and ACS parachutes were deployed using a pyrotechnic mortar device.

The Gaganyaan parachute system development has been a joint effort by VSSC, Thiruvananthapuram and Aerial Delivery Research and Development Establishment (ADRDE), Agra.

India’s first manned space flight – Gaganyaan – is expected to send three persons into the space for seven days and the spacecraft will be placed in a low earth orbit of 300-400 km.

Giving details of the programme at a press conference here, Minister of State for Atomic Energy and Space, Jitendra Singh said GSLV Mk III, the three-stage heavy lift launch vehicle, will be used to launch Gaganyaan as it has the necessary payload capability.

He said two unmanned Gaganyaan missions will be undertaken prior to sending humans.

“The total programme is expected to be completed before 2022 with the first unmanned flight within 30 months. The mission will aim to send a three-person crew to space for a period of seven days. The spacecraft will be placed in a low earth orbit of 300-400 km. The programme is expected to cost less than Rs 10,000 crore,” Singh said.

The Gaganyaan mission was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his Independence Day address. He had said that by 2022 or even before that, some of the young boys and girls will unfurl the Tricolour in space.

Sing said the complex programme will truly be a national endeavour with the participation of ISRO, academia, industry as well as other government and private agencies as stake holders.

“The mission will make India the fourth nation in the world to launch a Human Spaceflight Mission,” Singh said.

To accelerate the programme, ISRO may consider seeking collaborations with space agencies from friendly countries and advanced space programmes, he said.
The program was supposed to launch in 2022 and they are still only testing pilot chutes?
