The coaches are designed and manufactured in China, where as apple designs and only manufactures in China.

Absolute trash compared to the other metros in India:

Chennai Metro:

Hydrabad:

Delhi:

(new rolling stock for phase 3):

Gurgeon:

Jaipur:

Bangalore:

This is what happens when you get crooks like Reliance onboard, just look at the mess they made the Delhi Metro's airport line(tunnels were flooding, loss making, low ridership etc), thank god the DMRC stepped in and revived the line's fortunes and now it is profit making and being expanded.

Why we bought Coaches from China in Mumbai Metro?

Because China has funded Reliance and it was time for payback. There are no free lunches, especially if you take a loan from China.

Easy just compare the Chinese made coaches in Mumbai metro. and one which used in DMRC in Delhi metro you know the difference please come to Delhi and use Delhi metro you will find them even better than some western counterparts.
