Dude I think the MKI number should be much higher. Because during Aeor India 2009 it was 116 and last year HAL made 28 new MKIs so it should be 144+.

2012 will be the greatest year for the Indian Navy, multiple milestones will be achieved.....

INS Vikramaditya commissioned into the IN.
INS Arihant will be inducted.
First of the P-15A stealth DDG INS Kolkata will be inducted.
Second and third stealth FFGs INS Tarkash and INS Trikand will be inducted.
First P-28 corvette INS Kamorta will be inducted.
First P-8I MMA may be inducted.

2012 will also be great for the indian air force.

The 40 additional SU30MKI will arrive from Russia an order from 2008.
And LCA tejas will be inducted in one full sqn.
MMRCA deal will have been signed and very close to delivery of first of 18 MMRCA STRIAGHT OFF SHELF.
ALL THE C130J will have arrived
And C17 globemasters deal very close to delivery too

Two More Arihant subs are under Construction will be introduced 2013 onwards.
These will be larger and more evolved models.

So 2015 look for IAC1 and Two Arihant Subs. As well as te Yearly induction of Stealth Destroyers , Frigates , Cruisers etc

I think by 2015 all the older war equipment either upgrade or phase out, so after that there will be only addition of strength to indian forces.
