India's cleanest city - Chandigrah

@RoYaL~GuJJaR > Lavasa is ought to be more beautiful and better than Chandigarh, it has been planned decades after Chandigarh rose as city.

The Lavasa planners had better tech and techniques

But it will have only 2,00,000 population

^^ Agree...!:agree:

Greater Noida is Next in Line, may be not for natural beauty but for tall rising concrete beauty.

I'm sorry to say but Chandigarh has gone to the dogs and someone needs to post some pics of the slum that has come up in Sec 40 during these last 2 years. It has the potential of beating the one in Mumbai :laughcry:

The planning principles of Le Corbusier's Chandigarh and modern-day Lavasa are poles apart, therefore it'd be unfair to compare the beauty of the two cities based on that fact alone. Now of course, you could compare the two based on their natural settings, in which case, Lavasa emerges as the clear winner.

The cities of Brasilia and Chandigarh are both products of Le Corbusier's unique architectural style and brilliant planning principles.
