Well it depends on how the US handles India...after all India needs US more than US needs India...!
Chahbar wont become dead, but may become limited to India-Iran trade point...many international vessels wont touch Chahbar due to payment issues..whatever be the case, rest assured...Gawadar will flourish...! Especially if Americans are involved in Gawadar, then it will really flourish a lot...!

That has been dealt a severe blow as American has more or less rejected that option, making Pakistan the only supply line option through the sea. It is the most cheaper option for them anyway. Chabahar port development will be constrained and would get more expensive or perhaps unviable as the target market is now only Afghanistan. India's immediate concern is the oil. Under sanctions, India had to limit the amount of oil imported from Iran and it jumped 2-fold after the deal now its going to get severely affected.

Our target market is not just Afghanistan, but Central Asia via Iranian rail infra.

India only needs three countries for the extended Chahbahar project to succeed: India, China and Iran.
Indian and Chinese investment will continue in Iranian Railways.

These sanctions are profitable to India in the longer term as the oil price comes down to "friendship" prices, maybe in INR like before.
Iran is already buying rail infrastructure from India. Sanctions will only raise their dependency.

The sanctions Trump is reimposing aren’t just on Iran but on other entities that do business there, such as banks.
