I don't think Indians do themselves or their nation any favour on the internet. On the one hand you have a nation of hard working people, with some really exceptional individuals doing stuff on the global stage as well as domestically. Then you have a wave of professionals making their way across the world, working hard and being recognised for their hardwork and ability.
Then you have the biggest and most common type of Indian the rest of the world comes across, the Indian in the comments section or message board, or social media. These guys are probably majority trolls and spew bile and hatred against people and in particular Pakistan.
This isn't unique to the internet going demographic of India, most nations have a high level of trolls on the internet (the safety of the computer screen brings the worst out in people) but India has just so many and they are everywhere!
