Pakistani Terrorists Given "Dignified" Burial In January: Indian Minister

4/7/2010 12:31 AM ET
(RTTNews) - The bodies of nine Pakistani Islamic terrorists killed by Indian security forces during the November 2008 Mumbai terror attacks were "secretly" buried, under orders of the Maharashtra government, in a "dignified" manner by the police in January, R. R. Patil, Interior Minister of the Congress-ruled western Indian state--whose capital is Mumbai--told the Legislative Council Tuesday.

He said that about 40 policemen were involved in the burial and that they buried the bodies, in conformity with their "dignity," but refused to reveal the exact date and location. To mislead the media, lights and fans were kept on at the morgue, said Patil, who was forced to quit as Home Minister in the previous ministry over the attacks in which 170 persons, including six Americans, were killed by the terrorists, of which one was caught alive and is facing trial.

Police Commissioner D Sivanandhan, Anti-Terrorist Squad chief Rakesh Maria and Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Chandra Iyengar declined to disclose where the bodies were buried.

The decision to bury the bodies of the terrorists was taken after Pakistan refused to acknowledge the slain gunmen were its citizens and accept the bodies.

Your govt has admitted that the terrorists involved were Pakistani. What else proof do you want? Even if God itself says you'd say India is behind it. :azn:

Really?? So you subscribe to the theory that Kasab is Amar Singh??

Or that Kasab was the only Pakistani and rest of them were Indians?

Some information for uninformed members.

The authorities had already identified two of the gunmen: Mr. Kasab, from the village of Faridkot, Pakistan, and Ismail Khan, from Dera Ismail Khan, Pakistan.

The eight remaining gunmen were identified by the police, sometimes only by first names and with varying degrees of location of their origins in Pakistan. The eight were listed as Hafiz Arshad from Multan; Javed from Okara; Shoaib from Narowal; Nazih from Faisalbad; Nasr from Faisalbad; Babr Imran from Multan; Abdul Rahman from Arifwalla; and Fahad Ullah from Dipalpur Taluka.

But ofcourse, this can also be termed as one of those idiot conspiracy theories.

Head buried in sand syndrome.... :tsk:
